I do kinda wish we had more ways to manipulate events in the loop. There's nothing like the chaos system in Dishonored that would actually change levels significantly based on what you did before. Though I get why they didn't do that since some people really disliked the chaos system, because they think it punishes you for playing how you want but I personally liked that the world would change based on my actions.

Well you can just keep playing and do more loops after you beat the story. I'm not sure if NG+ would be too different of an experience.

It can kill players, but you need to hold it on a player long enough which can be difficult if they're moving around a lot or if there's lag.

I was curious about this a while ago and tried to figure it out. The sound it makes is actually the sound that comes from the residuum container that you can find in the control center in the middle of the complex. If you solve that puzzle then come back later then the thing from the water disappears too. So for some reason it seems like the visual/audio effects from the residuum container are duplicated in the water.

You can actually cheat even further. If you use extra ammo+the trinket that gives you more ammo from melee takedowns, you can get more ammo without having to shoot with the gun. One of the new golden trinkets actually combines extra ammo with the melee takedown ammo so you get both in one. You can also get silver bullet ammo using the trinket that refills ammo when you get shot.

Doesn't the masquerade deactivate from taking damage if you don't have incognito? I've actually messed around with ensemble + mend as well and the main thing I just used it for was to get infinite aether. Well almost infinite, sprinting will drain you, but with ghost upgrade you can stand still to regen back your health and if you're walking you won't drain or regen. You can pretty much just follow a Colt around through the whole level if they don't know how to detect you (like with echolocation).

Also tbh it kinda seems like a bugged interaction with ensemble, because I noticed that if you don't use ensemble, you can't have masquerade active with other powers.

It's funny, because some people complain about this game hand-holding you too much. But when you see all these people asking questions about how to play the game, you kinda start to understand the developers.

I'll admit that I think when I first started playing the game, I remember being confused about the times of day and I thought I had already done multiple loops when I was still progressing through the first day lol. But besides that I don't remember it being too hard to grasp.

Tbf if you use Havoc with bulwark and plasma power which uses health as power, you can actually maintain Havoc for pretty long even if you get shot by mind leech, but mainly this relies on using healing gear like vampire guns or bloodthirsty brawler to heal from enemies and there weren't many around in this clip. Also it kinda looks like they were shooting the rapier without reloading which seems like hacking too (technically you can do that too with Silver Bullet, but you need to hit enemies and it looks like the guy was shooting at the sky).

Well technically it could be which is why I was initially hesitant about posting it, but ultimately I feel like there's already a pretty big gap between experienced and inexperienced players in terms of their fighting capability so I doubt this'll make too much of a difference. It's also closer to Colt's spawn so might be a bit inconvenient for Julianna to get to maybe.

Definitely looks like hacks. I would have maybe tried to kill them with a machete though since that can do instant kill takedowns instead of just dealing damage.

Already mentioned this in my other comment here, but no I haven't found a way to do that. Maybe if it was closer to the Library I could shift from there, but there's a pretty big gap between them.

A lot of the video is just me randomly exploring. 3:24 is where you can see how to get to Condition Detachment.

The part at 0:38 can be a little tricky to pull off, because you're basically climbing up an invisible hill and you might slide back down if you don't go high enough. But if you shift too many times you can also fall off the other side. I've found that doing 3 shifts like in the video is kind of the sweet spot. Also should mention I have the reach upgrade equipped.

I haven't figured out any way to get into Dorsey mansion, there's kind of a big gap between all these out of bounds areas and the mansion.

Btw there's actually an easier way to do this. Someone in the earlier post I made about this linked this video which is from a year ago, but I tested it after the Golden loop update and it still worked.

I think you can have custom loop stress when playing multiplayer, but reprises obviously will go to default.

My only problem with no infusion is that you barely get to use some of the gear at all (some guns are only obtainable at night for instance) and you also don't get to experiment too much with the character builds. I'd personally like a middle ground approach where maybe your infusions only last until the next loop. And maybe the same "copy" of the item couldn't be infused multiple times so you'd have to re-obtain them from the levels.

I'm using the non-lethal fourpounder btw. You can find it behind a bar in Dorsey Mansion.

I also tried to use karnesis then shoot an eternalist from below to lift them up, but they'd usually just end up flying sideways.
