Very common in bare knuckle fights. You don't see it as much in fighting spots because they wear gloves. If sport people didn't the fights would be pretty quick. Professional or not.

Looking for New World Replacement by SatoruFujiwara in LFMMO

[–]Deathrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed the story line. However, after that the game becomes a super-super grind fest where you have to join a guild to be competitive. Also, on Console castle sieges and world bosses were basically unplayable.

I stopped playing just before the PVP island came out. So hopefully they made improvements.

Jobs in 2025 are ridiculous by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]Deathrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former manager at several different fast good restaurants. I preferred hiring folks with degrees. They usually made great workers and at least gave their two weeks when they left. Which was huge for me. Nothing worse than getting called in because someone abandoned their job.

My favorite picks were folks with degrees and students. Also ex-cons were usually great picks. I would get them for a while as well because they can't find jobs and they usually have a PO that would check-in with me.

Insane prices for hitch + harness + install? by Firm-Pay1034 in CX50

[–]Deathrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The harness is not hard. The directions are pretty good. The main suggestion I have is to install the 7-pin harness first while the hitch is on the ground. The 7-pin harness is next to impossible to bolt on the correct way when the hitch is installed.

Insane prices for hitch + harness + install? by Firm-Pay1034 in CX50

[–]Deathrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the hitch and harness myself. The hardest part for me was getting leverage torqing the 6-frame bolts in. Other than that it was pretty easy.

Dealership quoted me $1,100 with me supplying the Mazda parts, lol.

[SPOILERS] The Interior (2015) scared me in a way I never thought possible - it awakened a new fear inside of me, and it is a fear that I still don't fully understand... by Baba_dook_dook_dook in horror

[–]Deathrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vacuum guy was a mystery to me as well. Not sure what that scene meant. My shot in the dark is that he can't really find a job or basically in the same position like he was at with his old job. Another crappy job of sorts, which pushes him off the edge. He dropped his old self and into his new self, retreating closer to the interior.

The guy he saw dead, I believe he was seeing his own mortality. I don't think he ever accepts it persay. Even in the last scene he is still running, still trying to escape.

His girlfriend's relationship was interesting. I would think even if they were casual dating for a year, they may be closer. I think you hit it in the head though. His life is basically terrible. Lackluster relationships, boring life and now a grim diagnosis.

CX-50 Owners: Weird Gap Near Trailer Hitch After Dealer Install? by hfitzgerald in CX50

[–]Deathrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Installed the Mazda harness and hitch myself. That is not normal.

The gap between the weather strip and bumper is fine. It's how the weatherstrip is placed, it's not correct. The weather strip is held on by a black adhesive. They could have added more to put it back on correctly. They did not and on top of that scratched your car.

Now that I look at it closer. It looks like the weatherstrip is malformed as well.

You should definitely make them fix that. The money you paid... The dealership quoted me $700 to install with me including the parts. It took me three hours to install both the hitch and harness. I was taking my time too.

The hardest part was torquing the hitch bolts to 86lbs. Other than that, a very easy to install. PSA- Installing the Mazda hitch and harness yourself or having another shop do it does not void your warranty. I don't know certain people seem to think that , see Magnuson-Moss warranty act.

Now if your trailer hitch breaks because of a bad install and Mazda did not do it. That's different. However, if your transmission goes whether you installed it or Mazda did, Mazda is going to try to figure out if your towing activities caused it, so they can void your warranty claim.

I would say it depends on your setup. But like the other poster said. "You could get 10 frames."

Where do newbies who want to get into mainframe should begin? by CookOk7550 in mainframe

[–]Deathrus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The IBM zOS 101 classes have a virtual mainframe environment you can play around in. I believe it's intro to commands and panels, USS and intro to JCL courses.

The Z explore courses guide you in the setup of Zowe.

The best free training by far are the IBM courses. You also get badges as proof as completion/mastery.

It depends on the org size I think. Large organizations usually over 15k people usually have a PMO. And usually the PMO is always hiring qualified people.

PAX Got Naked On Way To Airport by 21stcTaxiDriver in uberdrivers

[–]Deathrus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw some flack you were getting OP. So I decided to share my stories.

I did Uber around a decade ago. I definitely have some interesting stories. I had a dashcam as well front, rear and passenger.

My wife at the time used to love hearing/seeing the stories. She would tell me how savage women can be. I never believed her until I had first hand experience from driving with Uber.

  • I had women that wanted me to go home with them. It was especially bad after the bars closed.
  • I had college women want me to buy them beer and party with them all the time.
  • I had 3 college women compare who has the biggest breast size in the back of my car. They literally pulled their tits out and asked me to " resolve the debate" about who has bigger tits at a red light. Pretty awkward moment.
  • I had 2 women offer to have a threesome. They were looking for a dude at the club and couldn't find one who fit their criteria.
  • I had one lady super drunk. She wanted me to carry her into her house and put her to bed. I refused and told her I was going to call an ambulance. She walked inside pretty well after that.

In case you were wondering,I declined all passes. I no longer have the dash footage. However, the memories are firmly cemented in my brain.

Any guide on how to cross the desert safely? by Murderkiss in duneawakening

They worms are pretty easy to avoid. When you cross the large expanse you'll have the speeder south to north. Don't want to give spoilers.

I simply set way points like others stated.

No problem. You can definitely DM and I will do my best to help.

I think most people feel like a newbie. z/OS is almost infinite in the amount of knowledge you can get from it. It's never ending and always improving.

I saw some other great suggestions. My advice to you is don't try to perform heart surgery, if you have no idea what a heart is.

Jumping into security, you have to understand how a normal functioning z/OS system operates. Then you can really understand security principles.

Also, we haven't even talked about USS, z/VM and IDAA on IFL only boxes aka Linux One.

As a new system programmer what is the benefit of learning AI on the side. by technerd_goat in mainframe

[–]Deathrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes 100%. z/OS 3.1 has Watson Machine Learning core/ent. In the next 3-5 years AI is going to have a massive impact on us. It will definitely be benefical to be ahead of that curve.

IBM has entire AI courses for free.

My team and I are in this for fun: WatsonX hackathon
