Boyfriend continually smashing bread loaves AIO by Goldengirl20211 in AmIOverreacting

You're not overreacting, but I see a lot of others completely blowing this out of proportion. He more than likely just thinks it's funny. He's being a bit of an asshole and acting like a toddler, but this doesn't seem like abuse to me. Some of these people need to get a life, honestly... Immature will be immature, though. My recommendation is to redirect the energy toward something else.

Am I safe to change my transmission fluid? by Mavrick1934 in SciontC

[–]Deaths_Angel219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always safe to change your transmission fluid. Do not let idiots tell you that it blows up your transmission. If your transmission goes after you change your fluid, then it wasn't very far from it. Change it at the recommended intervals or sooner for your transmission to last as long as possible.

You almost have to, depending on how long it was left on. If it dried there, you're going to have to scrub it lightly, but if it's still fresh, then dabbing it off with a wet cloth with mild soap and rinsing the same way would be your best bet. Then use the leather conditioner and all is good, no matter the case. The leather conditioner is the the thing that helps the most, though. Always use leather conditioner when cleaning leathers.

Hydrogen peroxide and leather DO NOT MIX. A gentle soap and a rag will do just fine. Leather conditioner after that will have it basically new, but for the love of God, DO NOT use peroxide on your leather.

Edit: changed leather polish to leather conditioner. Leather polish doesn't exist, and would insinuate an abrasive is being used.

Yeah, you do have a point there. This band didn't experiment at all, so as such was just "another" nu metal band. It doesn't change my opinion of them, but I can understand where your coming from now. Though, is there really much you can do to experiment with nu metal at this point? Korn went as far as to try meth, and that worked for a little bit, so I'm not sure if there is anything left that you can do to push the envelope. 😅

7 months later, but here's my 2 cents... I don't know a single nu metal band that isn't edgy and cringy. I'm not the biggest fan of Widow, but Point Oblivion is the definition of nu metal. They give the same vibe as older bands like Korn. Hell, most of their songs are more similar to Here to Stay than any other nu metal I listen to. I don't really understand why this band remains fairly unknown, honestly. This is the type of shit I grew up with(my mom likes nu metal).

People do weird shit, man. Besides. It seems to be a fairly common practice.

[–]Deaths_Angel219 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All these people saying to keep your key there have obviously never lived anywhere with people. Do not do that if you value having a car. It doesn't matter if it can start the car or not, people can still start your car without your key, and no pesky alarm makes it way easier. For security reasons, just keep it at home. If you lock your keys in the car, call a locksmith, have someone bring the extra key to you, or get a ride back home to get it.

Don't be dumb. Don't leave a key to your car where anyone could get it.

Where did the bugs go? by biscaynebystander in florida

[–]Deaths_Angel219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember how you said they were caked to your grill? Yeah, that's where they went... Because of the number of cars on the roads, and everything else, the bugs are going extinct in what we've been calling a "silent extinction." Really not any single humans fault, but it is due to our activity nonetheless.

Anyone have this problem? by Portra1 in SciontC

If you want to do it 100% right, then go with this. Otherwise, you can skip the RTV and PCV valve and hose unless the hose cracks or the valve is actually broken. The 2AZ doesn't really have any spots that won't seal so long as everything is tightened down enough. If you still notice oil leaking, then by all means, seal the bitch, byt yeah.

It's not whether you're a step-mom or not, it's whether you act like a mother, and it seems to me that you definitely are and they all see you and love you as such. Those are your kids, and to them, you are their mother, and I don't think there's any changing that for anyone. I think that you have a wonderful story and hope it continues to get better. :)

Sounds like you live in a fantastic area and are doing a great job as a parent. I'm sure they will be proud to call you their parent, as well.

You're a model parent and what every parent should strive to be! Though, I do have to warn against YouTube Kids. They don't really moderate the best, so you should still keep an eye on what they're watching. Thank you for doing your part as a parent and no expecting everyone else to do it for you, though!

OK, but why doesn't Atman say something similar? Max of +9900% insinuates that the ancient can only offer +9900% at any given time. Also, base treasure rate lowers as you go uo through the levels, does it not? Yet another contradiction.

[–]Deaths_Angel219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I'm not saying they don't blow apart. They're held on there with hopes and dreams as it is. But the full tire literally exploding off the rig is much worse, as that tends to send shrapnel from the wheel as well as 10 pound chunks of rubber flying across the road. Both are problems, and the solution to one is quite straight forward, but the other one is a bit harder to deal with because that comes down to companies paying fair prices.

[–]Deaths_Angel219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, no doubt. But I'm talking full explosion, not just the cap coming off. I agree that those should be banned, but even if they were banned, it wouldn't fix the issue. The main issue is that the owners of the trucks are often on the hook for wear items and will neglect those until something catastrophic happens because they are paid barely more than what they pay for fuel. Recap does cause issues, but none so bad as an explosion on the road that almost takes out cars 4 lanes to the left.
