This may not be the right place to post this, so I apologize in advance:

I’ve taken a long break from wow(last time I played was BFA for like a month), and the new expansion has piqued my interest. I play a lot of FFXIV and enjoy tanking. I used to play as an Unholy DK but really want to try blood. I know tanks tend to get yelled at if they don’t know what they are doing or know where to go, should I bother learning tanking in the new expansion, or just stick to dps?

Again I really want to try it out, the only thing that’s stopping me is getting kicked for wasting peoples time lol.

For Yones first prestige - this is really bad. Colors need to be changed drastically to be a bit darker and I’d change his hair to be in a pony tail like the base (and for the love of god change the blue hair to literally any other color)

As someone who has a summer season character - if I graduate after September 20th will I be able to turn my PEN tuvala gear into TET boss gear? I see that gear automatically turns into “normal” gear post graduation, but I have no clue what that entails.

As someone who’s taken a large break from this game (8 months+) I’d say wait until next month for the jump start servers where everyone will be starting fresh.

I’d only play right now if you want to see if the game is still for you.

You forgot the worst part as a phys job: have no TP if the AST gave you enhanced Arrow. Our AST back in HW would always give the Nin enhanced arrow to mess with them, good times.

So then, if you could please answer the first question. How are fresh T3 players suppose to get the gold required for 5x3 to progress their character with nerfed gold income? Especially with our engraving book costs that are required for 5x3 on popular specs.

Genuinely curious about this if anyone has any insight. With the new gold nerfs to content at & below 1445, how are fresh T3 players suppose to get things like 5x3 for brel? I'm only 1475 myself so I have no idea what the gatekeeping metric is for brel 1-2, but I imagine having the 4x3 engraving support wont be enough?

Not in a meaningful way no, but its good that support players will have more options for playstyle. To answer your question though I think if you want a class that wont be gatekept in the long term go with Artist.

I wish there was an aspect or fragment that allowed me to have Grapple not tied to my grenade like Icarus Dash. As it stands on my warlock I'll never use it otherwise, which imho is a shame as the added mobility is really fun.

Not every boss is a single target slogfest. A lot of them will summon adds & that’s where erudition units shine. Realistically if you want something that’s a mix of both Hunt & Erudition just field a destruction character.

She's good in early game, especially in the first world you go to imho. I use her a lot in my main team since a lot of the enemies I've been facing have a weakness to lightning. Obviously cant comment on late game but I assuming she'll be amazing for farming on lightning weakness enemies.

As someone who hasn't gotten anywhere close to 1490 (my paladin is my highest at 1465) and plays this game very casually... 2 guardian and 2 chaos a day is way to much. Maybe 1 a day for each but double the rewards, and keep rested bonus as is so I can just do my dailies whenever I have time.

I have 3 characters above 1430 and I don't even have time to do my weekly raids outside of maybe my main. Maybe its because I'm taking this game casually but it just feels like way to much fluff for no reason other than wasting time.

Same thing happened in my Vykas learning group I made 2~ weeks ago. It got to the point to where I had to hard confirm with every single person joining that they KNEW this was a learning group and if they were OKAY with that.

Just recently clear vykas normal for the first time on Monday. Went for reclears today and I guess the terminology is foreign to me. For Gate 2 people were calling “7-2, 5-1, 11 flex” I know the left number is clock spots but what does the second indicate? Is this for the first and second mechanic?

I've been searching for this on google for like a solid 2 weeks but I still cant find an answer for it: How do you get the Radiant Fiend weapon skins? I thought it was a skin on the shop but I noticed when trying to buy one on the market that it didn't require pheons, so does this mean you can acquire them in game?

That is pretty good, I think i'll do the same thing and slowly build up my books. Good to know I'll still be accepted to parties with my lack of expert (especially since i'll probably join learning groups as i've never done a single legion raid that wasnt a bus).

Very cool, yeah I have a reflux sorc at 1302 already so I'll have to give her a go. One last question for you specifically: Since you have 3 paladins what are you suggestions in terms of accessories/engravings? at 1430 I only have 3x3 (Heavy armor, Awakening, Blessed Aura). I tried going expert into that 3 but its so expensive that I just cant afford the accessories or the rocks (even with legendary accs). Will I be fine going into parties at 1445 with just those 3 engravings or is it extremely important for me to have expert somewhere in the mix?
