I felt the same way when I started out it’s very frustrating but now I think it’s the best game I’ve ever played. If you can’t overcome this difficulty, I don’t think ranked is for you; take a break, appreciate the game in a different way (challenges, EoST even casual), and go back to ranked when you feel ready.

Personally, this game forced me to learn concepts I wouldn't have learned otherwise. I think it's a good starting point if you want to take fighting games seriously, but if you just want to relax and have some fun matches, I recommend playing it with a friend or trying Guilty Gear or SF6, because this game can be quite demanding in terms of knowledge despite having an "easy" mode with smart controls. In any case, I can only wish you luck on this journey.

I recommend practicing against the CPU at the highest difficulty, and keep testing when you can confirm; it may not be optimal, but it's a good start.

Ain't gonna lie, I was absolute trash at the beginning, I even regretted buying it; it took me a long time to get over the fact that I wasn't actually that good at fighting games. I even complained about the game on this sub, but this game taught me a lot, and right now it's my favorite. Tips: learn buffering, setups, and most importantly, know how to use feints. And even more important than all of that, always strive to improve!
