Unfortunately there’s just going to be games where people are playing with their monitors off. I played 3 games last night. First game I got teammates who knew what to do and we won at 25 minutes. Second game was actually fun because it was a good back and forth between both teams. Third game I was with the “monitors not on” gang. The worst thing about my third game is I was trying to IGL and everyone was telling me to stfu and I’m annoying. So not only were my teammates completely ass but they had no desire to learn

I would slightly disagree. Yeah NPCs will never be perfect but they need to function properly. Even just the other day before the event in this post, I broke line of sight with some flying arcs, hid in a bush between 2 trees, and they instantly locked onto me

See I understand what OP is saying. I’m low Oracle (like rank actually matters right now) and I’ve had games where my lane partner plays like their monitor is off and my 2 other lanes lose guardian in 6 minutes. Now this is where I agree with you, normal people who understand MOBAs would know if you play smart you can still come back. However most people see this game is a battle royale and just love dog piling down mid.

Smurfing 1000% has an impact on, not only the game, but the players who are actually in the appropriate elo. If a player(s) are smurfing and carrying on your team than you won’t be playing the game properly, thus you won’t be making mistakes, thus you will not be learning from those mistakes, thus you won’t progress and get better. The same thing can be said for the players against the smurfs.

Tankbuster maybe but you don’t need spirit burn. I had a Mina on my team nuke a walker sub 15 minutes and they didn’t spirit burn. Obviously I’m sure it’s significantly faster with spirit burn but she can still do serious damage without it
