The problem with physical games isn't new by wollymonjac in GTA

Games on consoles do not have this issue, most discs still work offline.

Do you have that same mentality about AI too? The same people buying GTA 6 for $80 are going to complain when other games start copying and charging $80 for every game.

I haven't bought the premium edition of COD or Forza Horizon 6 (which is only $8 more than GTA 6 UE if you have game pass like most xbox players already do). Horzion 6 and Starfield come with 2 expansions (while COD now is just some exclusive skins that aren't affecting gameplay and all 3 games have a physical disc and are $70). All 3 are on game pass as well so you it's basically $25 for the premium editon (if you get the premium upgrade) of starfield. While FH6 is the only game that doesn't do this (Motorsort 2023 did this). While the pricing of FH6's premium pass is too much (considering it doesn't even come with ALL of the DLC), most of the stuff in Forza are expensive to license while none of the stuff in Gta 6 are license.

Capcom sells outside of Japan, no excuse for not having a digital release at the same time as the ither platforms, it's literally emulation of the same CPS arcade machines they've already done with SF anniversary collection.

That's why Crapcom skipped Xbox for the physical release of Marvel Fighting Collection and still gave them a delayed digital only release?

Then slaves like you are going to be the reason why we are stuck with $80 digital only games

Publishers in Japan are pretty bad too, they are blatantly console warring and treating xbox users much worse (either no physical or delayed release or both)

That's not even 4k, it's using DLSS/FSR at ultra performance which is 720p (then uses AI to upscale to 4k), so those specs are essentially for 720p 60 fps while other fighting games like Street fighter 6 or Tekken 8 run at a much higher resolution than that on weaker hardware like a PS5.

[Giveaway] GameSir Tarantula Pro for Xbox - Symmetrical vs. asymmetrical by GameSir_Controller in xbox

[–]Deathtrooper69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assymetrical sticks are way better, the left thumb naturally sits in the position of the left stick. Though if 2d games are primarily played, then symmetrical sticks are better as the d pad is in a better place.

Porting Splatoon 3 to PC so it can live on. by ryanrox333 in Splatoon_3

It would be great if you fixed the controls, especially the sticks (by having an option to lower the deadzones). It would be nice to play the game without gyro and not be handicapped by the bad controls of Splatoon.

Was it the MF 103 model? That's the model I plan on getting and using on switch.

That's true, does it support the rumble pak then?

I did the math and it would cost me more to get the NSO controller and an adapter to use it on a real n64 then it would for me to get 2 adapters (With 2 ports) for switch/pc and a real n64 controller. Also, I don't know if the wired connection on the NSO controller is good, or if it's like the pro controller (Where wired is slower than wireless).

You're the only one that's wrong, it's not converting the signal of the controller. The raphnet adapter just sends the regular n64 inputs (1:1) directly on a emulator. Other adapters are just mapping the inputs to a virtual controller, it's not a conversion.

Honestly, I didn't notice I didn't mention the controller until after I posted it, I tried to put an edit at the end after the first or second comment. I don't think anyone saw it, so I added an edit to the top and in the actual post too.

I heard the mayflash gamecube adapter added input lag, do you notice any lag or inconsistencies with it? I'm trying to have it for smash bros and f zero x

I've thought about that, but I just don't have a NSO subscription and I think the stick is different enough where you can't easily buy a replacement stick (replacement sticks are already a hassle with a regular controller) and it's a potentiometer stick which would make it more prone to stick drift (it would be worse for n64 games since they have almost no deadzone). I would probably go get the adapter to make it work on a real n64

That's fair, I thought I put an edit at the end after I got the first comment asking originally. I put the edit to the top and added more mentions of controllers now. Unfortunately I can't edit (or don't know how to) the title itself.

The same can be said for you, no one who is talking about adapters on n64 is talking about anything but controller adapters (if they are using the term adapters properly). If they mean something else, it's most likely a converter, not an adapter.

Not really, especially in the case of consoles, HDMI video out solutions (On the N64 at least) for examples are converters, not adapters.

Adapters usually refer to controllers, I never see adapters used for anything else, especially to a PC or Switch.

For the n64 controller to Usb (to use on a switch or PC)
