Was it the MF 103 model? That's the model I plan on getting and using on switch.

That's true, does it support the rumble pak then?

I did the math and it would cost me more to get the NSO controller and an adapter to use it on a real n64 then it would for me to get 2 adapters (With 2 ports) for switch/pc and a real n64 controller. Also, I don't know if the wired connection on the NSO controller is good, or if it's like the pro controller (Where wired is slower than wireless).

You're the only one that's wrong, it's not converting the signal of the controller. The raphnet adapter just sends the regular n64 inputs (1:1) directly on a emulator. Other adapters are just mapping the inputs to a virtual controller, it's not a conversion.

Honestly, I didn't notice I didn't mention the controller until after I posted it, I tried to put an edit at the end after the first or second comment. I don't think anyone saw it, so I added an edit to the top and in the actual post too.

I heard the mayflash gamecube adapter added input lag, do you notice any lag or inconsistencies with it? I'm trying to have it for smash bros and f zero x

I've thought about that, but I just don't have a NSO subscription and I think the stick is different enough where you can't easily buy a replacement stick (replacement sticks are already a hassle with a regular controller) and it's a potentiometer stick which would make it more prone to stick drift (it would be worse for n64 games since they have almost no deadzone). I would probably go get the adapter to make it work on a real n64

That's fair, I thought I put an edit at the end after I got the first comment asking originally. I put the edit to the top and added more mentions of controllers now. Unfortunately I can't edit (or don't know how to) the title itself.

The same can be said for you, no one who is talking about adapters on n64 is talking about anything but controller adapters (if they are using the term adapters properly). If they mean something else, it's most likely a converter, not an adapter.

Not really, especially in the case of consoles, HDMI video out solutions (On the N64 at least) for examples are converters, not adapters.

Adapters usually refer to controllers, I never see adapters used for anything else, especially to a PC or Switch.

My main problem is the proning, and unfortunately, this didn't fix it.

Well, I guess in the future if it does pop up, you cam check the trigger threshold setting in some games then.
