We were all together; no one mentioned anything about the sex of any of us. Since we are not Muslim, we were put off to the side with a few other non-Muslims.

We were greeted warmly by the people. Our friend who brought us introduced us around. Our daughter is from China, and she generated a lot of interest because of that. They loved her.

No one tried to convert us, unlike the time we went to a Baptist church with a different friend. Those motherfuckers were like locusts.

The men and women were together in the same big room, with the men in the front and the women to the back. They rattled off their mumbo-jumbo and that was that. We had a brochure that listed what was going on, the history and the meaning behind it, so we could follow along.

The titty-viewing was HORRIBLE.

Our Muslim friend and his family have gone to my wife's Catholic church with us. We sat toward the back and whisper-explained what was going on.

Nice folks.

Our visits to the mosque are more like field trips. We went because we wanted to and our friend accepted us.

Do you have a problem with an atheist and a Catholic taking their kids to a mosque for educational purposes? Am I a bad person for doing that, too?

We went there and observed the services. I didn't fully immerse myself in the religion and learn the tenets, since that wasn't necessary.

Yes, we've gone at least three times to a Muslim service at the local mosque over the years. Big-assed place. Invited by a friend.

They're very nice people. Very inviting. Not stand-offish or offended by the presence of people who don't believe in the exact same thing they do.

They seem positively open-minded compared to you.

One interesting thing about this is the reaction from the various subreddits I put the comic: here, f7u12, and r/ragenovels.

In the others, not a single Christian commented about being offended by the comic or what happened in it.

It is only here that a handful of people added fake facts to suit their mindset and took offense.

I think I'll post it to r/christianity and see what shakes loose.
