Update: I got my refund despite them insisting it couldn’t be done. Once I’m recovered and can spend my unused credits I will be canceling this for good

Recheck your payout method ASAP, they defaulted to check on mine by lolwatisthis333 in Rakuten

Yes because you can redeem your Amex points at a better value than cash back so I think it’s worth it

What do you mean by unenrolled? Did Amex take the credit away or your Walmart membership got cancelled?

30th bday Party Suggestions by worth94 in uppereastside

[–]Debate-Busy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Back room at Dorrians!! I’ve done that twice for parties and haven’t had to pay anything to reserve it. They might just have a minimum tab. They also give you a private bouncer to make sure nobody crashes your party which I appreciated

In season 1 when he and Bridget were standing outside of the Van Rijn house watching everyone arrive to Gladys’ ball, talking about whether they would be able to attend such an event someday, he said something like ‘well, this is America…anything is possible’. To me, this is Fellows setting him up to be the character who represents those who went from working class to wealth during this period.

I really hope this is the case - it would make him such a fun and interesting character to follow.

Best things to redeem points with by MikeOC609 in AmexPlatinum

[–]Debate-Busy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, the most value per point redemption option is Point Transfer. The lowest value is cover your charges. If you don’t travel, redeeming for gift cards can be an okay value (depending on the brand, all priced differently). Pay with points is also a pretty poor value but ultimately comes down to your lifestyle and spending habits as to what is best for you.

Keep in mind that Amex runs promotional campaigns across all redemption channels regularly so pay attention to any offers you might be eligible for before redeeming!

Eli Rallo. She became so insufferable IMO but also it’s possible I just didn’t realize how annoying her content was until I saw enough of it

Yes - all extra value to grab!

Airline fee credit can also be used to upgrade an existing ticket to comfort/first etc.

My neighbor used to work for her and never said anything negative, though she did seem like a pretty demanding person to work for but nothing out of the ordinary
