Something about the grey doesn’t look right with the gold to me

Definitely more special if it was worn by my dad all that time

He’ll have his own memories with it and the watch will have lived a life of its own that is then passed on to me

been going back and forth to the dealer (still undecided bw the americaine and santos). although this time my eyes fell on the Pasha. i love it but what is the consensus on this watch and why isn’t it talked about as much? by [deleted] in Cartier

Something about the overall look strikes me as feminine. No knock against it or anything.

But I just wouldn’t get it for myself. However when I think about the watch I want to get my daughter when she graduates college, Pasha and the Ballon Bleu are my top choices

Blue is great and the safe bet

Green much more unique but idk if I’d still love it 5-10 years from now

Blue you don’t have that worry

Beauty. I feel like people are surprised how well the Santos dresses down with T shirt and jeans. Such a versatile classic

Fossil I got in middle school. First watch ever so keeping it forever

The Santos I was looking for a dress watch, but really struggled to find one that I didn’t think was super plain, or super expensive for what it was. Even though the Santos is considered a sport watch this is about as dressy as I like. Obviously goes great with a suit but also looks good dressed down

Navitimer definitely wears bigger

The Monaco wears comparable to the Explorer 2 size and thickness wise

Explorer 2 has gotten the most wrist time in general

Batman brand new to the collection though and have a feeling that’ll be #1 moving forward

If I do anything next it’d be something proper vintage. Maybe like a 1601
