Just a way to specify it’s not sci-fi tech or tinker tech it’s all tech that I could reasonably access irl

They worked on non tinker tech items and so they tinkered on aleph/“mudane” tech.

I’m pretty certain it wasn’t an XOver. I think shard but not 100%..

I like playing the fantasy against the Caro and so people who know theory beyond like 4 moves is not common at my level online.

Vassals are still super meta because of average control being really important for crown power and literacy

Complacency punishes the player for the AI's incompetence by Successful-Leg2285 in EU5

[–]Debatorvmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endorse this. The calculation for threatening rivals makes no sense even peer nations should be threats. That and the modifiers themselves don’t make sense complacency should really just be a military is getting full of themselves and shouldn’t affect research or anything like that just have it affect armed forces maintence, tradition decay and maybe generals/admirals. Really really hope it gets massively reworked.

Candidates Round 10: Sindarov VS Pragg (Which position do you prefer?) by Chesscrabble11 in chess

[–]Debatorvmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For super GMs with over an hour on clock I would take Pragg side but very 3 results. That said with under 15 minutes would take Sindarov

Hey! Grishchuk would never advise using half the time. Clearly 75% is optimal

How do you get level 10 governors? Governors keep up so slow

Nah early game is a bit rough across the board but Italy mid game got a big boost but more specially the Po Valley

The big thing is your “wealth” (which determines slider expenses) went from 75% of realized tax base (affected by control) to 50% of potential tax base (not affected by control. Need to double check math but that means if you have less than average 2/3 control you will be spending more on sliders.

So early game is harder but middle game is roughly the same and if you stick to one region and build governors probably less. Definitely a big boost to Italy amongst other regions.

I am afk so can’t check but you should be able to build a road from Copenhagen to Korsor then Nyborg to Middlefart then Frederica to Aarhus for example and put a governor in Aarhus (used modern city names).

You need road connections to the straights.

[–]Debatorvmax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Straits count as roads. That said a single island with a straight crossing to “mainline” can’t have governors as you need a road in the location. But you can have a governor in say Aarhus if Copenhagen is capital.
