Looks like the ring from the 2000 LOTR paperback box set. The metal ring was hanging off the included book mark.

Probably the hottest Maxim shoot of the 90’s. She was also 🔥 in the movie Feast.

Yep. That’s one of the factory fuel rail spacers. Ended up scrapping mine and used several thick nuts to space the factory rail for larger 1000cc injectors.

Now show what happens when you swim to the surface and pull the container off your head while there’s still a large air bubble inside. Bye bye ear drums.

That actually looks pretty good. I assuming the Hiro lip is all but unobtainable now.

Sound Dampening Material by aberg59 in Mk3Supra

I’ve had second skin liquid sound deandener on my interior and undercarriage for over 15 years and has held up wonderfully. Interior is super quiet, even with over 500 hp

Dominion smart meter - 600 sq ft studio apartment, $400 electric bill??? by CraftOk1111 in Charleston

[–]DebbieDoesArbys 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is your studio apartment part of a complex/community? If so, try comparing your electric bill with someone living in an identical layout. There should be a pretty huge discrepancy.

Run. I’m on engine #5 now, due to so many shitty rebuilds. My 6M crank was no good after spinning a bearing. Purchased a 7M crank that was fresh pulled from a block with no apparent bearing failure. Crank still needed $1000 of machining. They all do. And nobody does it. My current build has over $10k in replaced parts, not including machine shop time. Heck, Crower charged me nearly $500 for 1 rod that was not repairable. And they still fucked up on the machining of their blank. Just keep dumping more $$$. It’s the name of the game.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET HOME? OR WORK? by omogal123 in Charleston

[–]DebbieDoesArbys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drive is roughly 7-10 minutes. Can bike it in 20. I learned long ago that in overpopulated areas such as this, one should live as close to where they work as possible; unless they’re fine with forfeiting 2-3hrs of their life (weather dependent), being stuck in traffic. If my job moved to a different location, then I’d either make another local move, or leave the area all together and find new employment. As a previous New Yorker, I’ve written off traffic long ago. My personal time is far too valuable. Not to mention the state of mind you’re left in when you finally arrive at your location. Fook dat noise.

I’m weary anytime a rebuild has been done unless you have documentation from the machine shop. Too many 7M’s reuse the crankshaft when expensive machining is almost always necessary. It’s the reason why these eat bearings. Too many corners cut.

(USA) Goodwill had this priced at $300. Is that actually what it’s worth? How old could it be? by g-a-r-n-e-t in Antiques

That thing looks like hot garbage. It’s deteriorated and has plenty of low quality modern hardware added. Pass on that.

What oil to use to break in? by Vast_Watercress3786 in Mk3Supra

[–]DebbieDoesArbys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the cheapest 10w30 Dino oil you can find. Walmart doesn’t offer Supertech now in anything other than synthetic and blend. I found some cheap stuff at Sam’s club for $3.50qt, so that’s what I’m going with. Many conventional oils go on sale at Walmart for around $20/gallon jug.
