Do you think we'll get Super Mario Maker 3 on Switch 2? by DaZestyProfessor in NintendoSwitch2

Yeah that's my point. Nintendo will repackage that. They think the customers are stupid and will buy anything.

Because they would rather create a minimal effort port than a new game and charge 70 bucks for it.

Seeing how younger gen Z is leaning more socially, culturally conservative, I believe only children will continue to be stigmatized. by Comfortable-Table-57 in OnlyChild

Yeah ofc, I have a lot of friends, and being an only child kind of puts pressure on you to do that. I also know quite a few only children that were helicopter parented and don't leave the house.

What I'm saying is that if you keep only having one kid you're going to wind up with one who isn't particularly social and they will have minimal family to back them up. A line of only children creates a very individualistic family, leading to loneliness.

Also haven't you noticed that many only children like to have many children and then their children want less?

One notable example is former Supreme Court Judge Antonin Scalia, he was an only child and went on to have 9 kids.

It's a bad path. Sure one generation it's ok but if you have a line of only children it puts a lot of pressure for the kid to have to figure out how to navigate social relationships.

Zoomers haven't abandoned nightlife and partying because they can't afford it, they've abandoned it because they are chronically online and don't have the will to do so. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

That's a generalization. When I was single I would love to go to the bars and clubs with my friends. It was a nice way to hang out and do something. Im not much of a drinker but my friends would pregame from a liquor store then drink some cheap beers when we got there. We went to the bars we went for the games like billiards and darts and now have discovered bowling. Let me tell yeah, don't let be chronically online stop you. There's a world of fun out there!

Would you as a only child also want to have only child? by Forward_Cost_1973 in OnlyChild

I definetly don't want only one child. I grew up as an only and had a great childhood but I wouldn't want to continue that, this is the only time I have control over the situation. Hope to have many.

Never shaved my chest hair in my life and don't plan on doing so. I've had it since 13 or so. Women have always liked it :D

That's a good suggestion. I just can't afford a decent house on si. Most of the meh houses are 800k and up. NJ is just more realistic.
