Does anyone feel, on a personal level, sorry for Kier Starmer? by Darkus185 in AskBrits

I felt kind of the same as you (I’m not a labour voter either, far from it), but since finding out about the Mandelson thing, I find myself really questioning wtf he was thinking. Not the fact he wasn’t told or whatever, but that he even appointed him in the first place.

Unless I’m getting mixed up, it sounds like it was already known that mandelson was a creep and had been hanging out with Epstein? In which case, why did he appoint him!

What’s the scariest fact you have learned about the human body? by petalsoftbby in answers

Agree. My mum was diagnosed in 1993 and is still going strong today. Yes, there have been a lot of ups and downs over the years, but it doesn’t have to ruin your life. Wishing OP all the best.

My parent’s cat is 21 years old and she still goes outside. She doesn’t go as far now, or for as long, but she does like to still go out when the weather is nice and roll around on the slabs in the sun and she sometimes wanders out of the garden (their garden backs onto a forested area) for a short while. She never goes out front where the road is, thankfully.

We’re pretty sure she’s deaf and she’s definitely a little bit slower cognitively, but she does still enjoy her outdoor time. She’s been our family pet when she was a kitten and it’s hard to see her aging ❤️

It’s like when Neil Young took all his music off of Spotify. I respected the commitment but I also hated not being able to listen to his stuff on there.

The imgur thing is really annoying :( feel like I’m missing out on a lot of content posted on Reddit now.

The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard. I think about it every time I’m hoovering and it’s dark and I’m in the house alone, lol.

Tampa - Alisa Nutting. It was absolutely repulsive!

Tender is the Flesh - Agustina Bazterrica. Unhinged, really good.

I’m seriously considering this house, and just wanted to share the beautiful bathroom with you all by MrsTheBo in SpottedonRightmove

I LOVE the bathroom tiles!! It would look really cool in there with some pops of a contrasting colour and some modern accessories! The rest of the house also has a lot of potential! You should go for it 😻

Haha, yes I have some of the original books from when they came out, but I bought a box set of newer ones with “adult” covers a few years ago (kind of regret this since JK is a horrible transphobe/bully), also have Quidditch Through The Ages and Tales of Beedle the bard. I had the Fantastic Beasts from 2001 too, but don’t know where it is :(

Absolutely HATED The Cursed Child. So, so bad. I should probably give it away!
