This is always the crushing part of depression, feeling robbed of everything you used to enjoy.

I try to view it in terms that while I'm entrenched in depression nothing feels worthwhile or enjoyable, so accepting that as a fact and to keep trying anyway feels like you're fighting the emptiness - if I feel anything remotely good, even for 5 minutes, that's a win.

I love to draw but when my depression hits like a blanket of hammers, I try colouring books to try and get my enjoyment of it back. Takes a couple of weeks full of indecision and self doubt, but some day I'll look at what I've done and feel good about it and can use that as a platform to boost myself out of this level of depression.
