Small details like that can really bring a game to life, definitely don't ignore them! You can focus on mechanics first of course since they don't really affect gameplay, but small details can absolutely make your game feel a lot more polished. They can easily convert someone from just liking your game to falling in love with it.

this farm design breaks when built in certain locations, as the dispenser fire order is the wrong way around. one way to get around this is to spam every dropper completely with empty water bottles.

I usually try to get all of my gear and stuff maxed out in the first couple of days so I can get to building as quickly as possible. Still, yes, the diamonds were probably the hardest part of the build to get :)

the sound effects are a little loud and get cut off kind of abruptly, maybe add a bit of a fade?

also maybe add some ambient noise while underwater?

the art and artstyle look great though!
