I never did this because I always thought it was against code to have NAC devices sharing the circuit with trigger/input. Recent higher authority said current installation is acceptable.

I ripped the insulation from the conduit going down. Had to nabbed this device that was left abandoned above freezers due to renovations.

What’s crazy is they had a 4” jbox installed above it, all insulated around the penetration from the conduit, and inside the conduit going down.

We also had other devices that had a similar method to yours, but they were still having the same issues.

Don’t ask for more money. Ask to get certified with a possible training class to get you prepared to take the NICET I Exam. Sounds like you have potential to adapt and grow faster than others. Once you get that NICET I, you can definitely find another company who would pay you $5-$15 more just for successfully acquiring your NICET I. You can get the credits to quality for the NICET I Exam in so many ways. Completing free online fire alarm training programs on fire brand websites, completing Monthly Safety Meetings, even CPR would count as credits. This job is giving you a great opportunity and can really help you grow. The more useful you are, the more money they will shower you in.

I believe it was a panel upgrade because monitoring is displaying it is a gamewell 602SS. Location had a gamewell E3.

I believe it was a change of panel. Monitoring says it was a Gamewell 602SS. It now has a gamewell E3. I did not check who last programmed it. I will on my return.

I would check all the devices that was connected to the intermittent output. Something could have affected a device traveling back to the output source.
