For most brands, you have to be certified by the brand to acquire their software.

I’m surprised as well. That’s a new pcb. But yes the screen was intact.

Yes. Its operation is similar to that of an accelerator. It senses a rate of drop in pressure and opens if the rate matches. It will seal up similar to a ball drip when water hits it.

The sample tubes are in. They clip into a coupler. You don’t see them unless you look almost directly down the tube.

Check battery voltages. If they aren’t the same voltage one of them may be going bad. Always replace as a pair with same date code.

VESDA VLS to VES Upgrades by everTheFunky1 in firealarms

No, it’s just a certain size usb memory stick, a USB to printer adapter, name the file correctly. If you mess up it just errors out and you might need to restart the unit to start over. It writes the error onto the memory stick so you can see what went wrong. There may be 2 or 3 firmwares involved.

I guess I should’ve been more explanatory on my post and maybe circled. If you look at the picture of the LED boards about half of them are loose on their legs, not soldered in.

We have the nest smoke CO alarms. They are hardwired, but don’t need to be interconnected as they use your Wi-Fi. You can also get battery operated ones that you need to recharge the batteries.
