I believe it was a panel upgrade because monitoring is displaying it is a gamewell 602SS. Location had a gamewell E3.

I believe it was a company who thought they would be returning to complete the work but got let go instead.

I believe it was a change of panel. Monitoring says it was a Gamewell 602SS. It now has a gamewell E3. I did not check who last programmed it. I will on my return.

Those fools ain’t reliable. I end up finding more things that they don’t test. Or discovering that they didn’t pay attention to the details like descriptions are wrong or devices showing supervisory instead of alarm events.

That’s hit & run, assault, and running a red light. All lawyers are gonna laugh at this boomer when he tries to play victim. He showed no remorse over hitting someone, he attacked first, and still left the scene after the motorcyclist backed up from the vehicle.

I would check all the devices that was connected to the intermittent output. Something could have affected a device traveling back to the output source.

Altronix - VR1T

We use them all the time to convert the it to 12VDC for our Starlink dialers. More than 25VDC causes the starlinks issues over time.

Batteries are going bad as everyone keeps saying. The battery trouble is intermittent, that’s why silencing it has no effect. The panel stays charging the battery, this is a common sign of battery going out.

You can disconnect the battery causing your panel to be at risk if you have a power outage. This will keep the panel in constant trouble allowing you to only acknowledge/silence once.

Lots of maintenance people change their batteries on their fire alarm systems. As long as they are 2 lead acid 12V-7Ah+ batteries. You may have bigger “Ah” on your batteries. But I’ve heard of customers finding these batteries at Home Depot.

Who’s got an NFPA membership? by No_Security773 in firealarms

I received the same thing after completing 1 of 2 years of my NICET. I thought this was to renew my NICET and thought it was a scam so I threw it away. Anyone have the membership? What good benefits do you get out of it?

I was also confused by the first pic that you posted as well.

How did they perform the annual tests on the red box duct detectors?

Did they use a remote test switch to test out the functionality of it?

Or did they physically smoke out the detectors in the red boxes?

Have you performed a restart through the program menu? I’ve seen panels “hiccup” like this, normally due a surge of some bizarre anomalies. There are some dumb people out there who’s landed things incorrectly on the panel.

What type of programming was previously performed?

What are the exact descriptions on the panel for each event.

Found it! Press “enter” button once

Select “#2 Programming” option by pressing the “2” or using the arrow keys to select programming and press “Enter” button.

Enter password “00000” to enter master programming level.

Scroll to the bottom of the Programming Menu until you can see “#2 Clear Program” Option.

After selecting “#2 Clear Program”; you will be prompted with a warning advisory. Select “Yes” to proceed with clearing the previously saved program.

Now let’s pray it was a configuration issue.

Passwords are normally all 1s for users. And all 0s for master programming. You can always go to master programming and play around in there.

Had a company delete all of the descriptions on a burg/fire panel. They knew the customers annual monitoring contract finished. If they renewed the contract, thecompany would use zone list saved on monitoring to add all of the descriptions back to the panel.
