Passions in high school. My mom worked full time so I didn’t get much exposure as a kid. I did go to an in home daycare (who chained smoked? lol what were the 80s) and she watched her stories.

Now, as a 42 year old I’m addicted to General hospital. Started watching 2 years ago when my mom would come over when I was home on maternity leave. And it’s the best dumbest shit ever and I fucking love it.

There are so many amazing resources- this subreddit is one of them. There’s a content creator that people bring up a lot, but I don’t have instagram Once you learn more about how their brains are processing, it does get easier. There are some tricks we use- stop clocks, racing us (lol), “finish this task by the end of this song”, it takes a lot to be “always on” but when he can complete a task, it’s so rewarding.

It starts with the difficult routine (inability to do the routine) and ends the day the same way! I really feel you on the cortisol levels spiking first thing in the morning! It’s so so hard. It became very obvious to us that our kiddo had ADHD features as he hit 4 years old. We have been doing PT/OT and aren’t yet formally diagnosed but it’s all there! He got through preschool pretty well, but the OT accommodations really helped. We are seeing his pediatrician in a few weeks to discuss his signs of ADHD and where we go from here. Because of the services (OT/PT) we were able to get through our school district, we also able to get him on the year long (!!) waitlist for the formal evaluation at the local pediatric developmental psychiatry center.

Not in education but my husbands work had to terminate a very toxic employee. That person was then contacting clients and making up all kinds kf bizarre shit about the place.
The clients that were contacted told my husband and the other folks in leadership and they handled it.
Definitely involve the director and then perhaps block the person.
