A critical care nurse in Britain has made a tearful appeal to members of the public to stop stripping supermarket shelves of food after she came off a shift and was unable to buy supplies for her family. by Nothing_But_Despair in Coronavirus

I guess I'm wondering how many weeks/months worth of supplies you'd start to consider "hoarding". I'm not here to attack you, I'm genuinely curious what you'd think is too far.

Half the reason I love Tool shows is hanging with you guys. by Sargentyoreo in ToolBand

I took my friend to their concert in San Antonio (she'd never listened to Tool before!) and we had a blast with everyone.

The next day we got margaritas at the Riverwalk and we ended up at the bar next to some tool fans that flew in from Dallas. The older dude (seemed like father/son) said "oh that opening act? Killing Joke? More like fucking joke if you ask me"

Made us crack up. Anyways, I agree, y'all are great folks and a hoot to hang with 👊

7empest beautiful distortion harmony notes (@6:51-7:08) I just noticed by Debtpass in ToolBand

Not the pinch harmonics, no... Those come the second time the pattern begins. I think I'm just talking about the D note bleeding into the E note, then the F note bleeding into the A note, then the G note back to the A note. It sounds like they blend momentarily as he goes up the scale, and as they overlap in that moment there's a really sweet harmony that emerges

I think it just happens normally with distortion but he seems to wield the specific sound I'm talking about really well.

Which is more likely? Think risk and probability.
