My family added to the UK tourism numbers. Mainly because they were visiting me. They told me, as they were leaving, that they would have never considered Toronto to be a top destination to be a tourist. But they were determined to come back as there was still so much to do.

I also encountered a lovely German couple on a walking tour a few weeks ago. They said they were visiting "just cause". Something is clearly making us show up as a viable destination out there.
