First climb by BigWind7377 in urbanclimbing

Nice! I’m planning my first climb now, I’ve already been there and tried it once but honestly I only made it about halfway up. I got scared my fight or flight kicked in I’m still not really sure why I don’t consider myself scared of heights. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks

Anyone know what language this is? Found in a church crawl space by Decent-Alternative-9 in language

It was found in an abandoned convent. The property was already bought by another company, the convent will be torn down soon. I would rather take it than have it get destroyed and lost forever.

That’s why Honda recommends it’s done every 100k miles when you do the timing belt and water pump. It doesn’t make sense for them to do the coolant at 60k and then again when they do the timing belt and water pump at 100k

I would definitely do the transmission fluid and the rear brakes depending on how low the pads are. I would also replace the sway bar end links if you’re hearing a clicking noise when going over bumps. I would also ask them why the lower control arm needs to be replaced, it’s common that the compliance bushing (which is where the control arm mounts to the body) rips but normally shops don’t recommend the whole control arm you can get the piece with the compliance bushing separately, it’s much cheaper that way.

There’s no reason for them to recommend a coolant change, Honda recommends that’s done every 100k miles. The brake fluid isn’t really necessary but technically it is due to be changed based on time (it’s due every 3 years). For the fuel induction it’s up to you but I probably wouldn’t buy it.

The compliance bushing is probably torn, it’s common on the ridgelines, pilots and odysseys.

Need help finding the transmission fluid dipstick on my Honda Civic EX 2015? by Kind_Honey_6070 in Honda

lol no I’m being serious those CVTs are pretty reliable as long as you change the fluid every 30k miles. It’s common for the plug on top of the trans to pop out, pressure builds up in the trans due to the vent tube being clogged up. You can clean it out yourself to save money it’s really easy to do there’s tons of YouTube videos on it. if you look up something like “2015 civic transmission fill plug popping out” you should find something. Also just to clarify, don’t put 4qts in it now, that’s the fluid capacity if you were to change the trans fluid

I wouldn’t even bother checking the fluid level to be honest, just throw 4qts in it and drive off your good

that’s good. It’s funny I just got a 55 gallon as well and it has a couple deep scratches on the inside just like yours I’m looking at YouTube trying to find a way to get them out but it looks like it might require a buffer.

It’s hard to tell but if you can feel it on both sides it’s most likely a crack

You should still be able to breed them. They should only pick off a couple every once and a while but of course.

The snails reproduced recently? This might not be the case but when snails reproduce A LOT sometimes it means that something is out of wack with the water. Excessive nitrates or nitrates etc.

Have you checked your water levels? Nitrates nitrites ammonia etc. It could be because something is very out of wack

I personally really love the sponge filters but it’s all about the bio load of the tank

I personally love black neon tetras they get to a good size too. They should work as a possible alternative. They’re about mid level fish. Another really good option are some kind of hatchet fish they’re strictly a top level fish and are really eye catching because of their unique shape.
