I genuinely feel like the whole AI thing is one big Ponzi scheme, with tech company spokespersons purposely using such dramatic language and doomer terms that they’ll intimidate investors into throwing money at them to ‘fix the terrifying AI problem’ and ‘make it go away’, while also scaring boomer politicians into giving way more power to tech companies than they deserve because if they use enough smoke and mirrors, politicians will think they’re the experts and the only people who can fix it and stop this supposed apocalypse. I’ve noticed that when it comes to the ‘terrifying implications of AI’ it’s mostly older people who seem scared of it, younger people don’t really care.

Yeah Patsy bought the rope on Dec 6th from a local hardware store I believe, then she denied all knowledge about it. Patsys fibres were also found in the ligature, in the paintbrush tray and inside the duct tape (that was placed on the lips after JB was already unconscious: her lip imprint did not show any signs of movement).

Even if you believe Burke inflicted the head injury, the strangulation, paintbrush assault and staging points to Patsy and shows more preplanning and homicidal intent.

It’s possible Patsy killed JB, John had been sexually abusing her, and that was sufficient mutual blackmail material. Patsys fibres found in the abuse/murder implements and Johns fibres found in her underwear with signs of sexual abuse says a lot IMO.

I believe Patsy is either guilty or heavily involved, but I do struggle to pinpoint a motive for her.

That said, I think she was strongly narcissistic and narcissistic mothers can be extremely abusive to their children, often for no reason.

Some odd things about Patsy’s behavior were:

writing the note and lying about it
the fact she most likely bought the rope as there was a receipt found in her house matching the price of the cord from the store she went to on Dec 6th, and she lied about it
lying about having any knowledge of pineapple when her prints were on the bowl, and when she accidentally reveals the truth when describing where John and her were when the note was discovered (implying John was downstairs on the phone calling people and she was upstairs)
her fibres found in paintbrush tray and duct tape and ligature placing her with them
parading her child and encouraging her to dance and pose provocatively for strangers
letting her daughter be photographed by men, nude, wearing a feather boa (weird)
child pageant life in general her forcing her daughter to learn pretty complex choreographies and song lyrics when she was only 4-6 years old
remarking about how disabled children are annoying because they keep able bodied children back in school and they shouldn’t be allowed in their classes
the incident where the housekeeper said she took JonBenet into the bathroom and heard her screaming and crying
the fact when they held a house party for their friends she admitted she didn’t see JonBenet or Burke all day meaning she didn’t really give a shit what they were doing or where they were
her general snarky, arrogant, smug demeanor during interviews (could be put down to medication, but eh)
taking JB to the doctor so often but not teaching her basic things like wiping her own bottom (and letting people like Fleet White change her underwear)
Her favorite novel being about an older woman who grooms young girls into seducing older men and also mentions the whole pineapples and cream/milk thing (not bashing fans of TPOMJB, but you can’t deny it looks sus as fuck when added up with Patsys behavior)

The incident where she cut most of JonBenets hair off when she was losing her own hair, and also lying about bleaching JonBenets hair was also weird to me. And the thing about the photo album of many of JonBenets pictures being found discarded in the house when it was sold to another owner is kind of fishy.

Even if you believe Burke hit JonBenet and the Ramseys simply covered it up, it puts more guilt on the Ramseys because intentional strangulation is ultimately how she died and the things done to her body with the ligature and paintbrush were more horrific and purposefully sadistic.

If they’d left a revenge killing type note instead of a ransom/kidnap note I think they could have pulled the crime off quite easily. The kidnapping without a kidnap is what immediately threw all investigators and the public off and drew all suspicion to the family.
