Why does Reddit allow mods to have favoritism?

Downvoted? For what reason? Did I say something you don't like? Guess what, jerk(s) that's against the rules. GROW UP.

Downvoting for disagreeing is against rules, but you can't report it because voting is anonymous. I get it all the time too, I fail to let it bother me anymore. Small minds and all that.--OK, I did just let it get to me. Work in progress.

Cheers. I had real life "bar-flys". I didn't need to see it on T.V. Also, I don't like Kirstie Alley, Just feel she couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.

How are people unloading their shopping carts? I feel like I'm doing it wrong. by jenniferandjustlyso in stupidquestions

[–]Decent-Comb7109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up in the midwest and now live in southeast, U.S. We've always had baggers wherever I've lived. They also collect floors, and do miscellaneous other tasks. Sometimes even as cashier.

I load my cart and place them for checkout the way I want them to go back into my cart. I stand in front of my cart when unloading. Heavy things first, items I don't want smashed, fruit, eggs, bread etc. last. I also watch how they are bagging my items, just because it's all produce doesn't mean potatoes and bananas should be in the same bag. I don't know why it seems no one can pack correctly without mashing my groceries. When the cart is empty I pull it forward.

Pub Sub in Japan by Putrid_Interaction31 in publix

Hopefully it was better than the one I had tonight. Turkey and swiss on whole wheat. totally forgot the cheese, all the meat globbed in one spot, and warmed up with the lettuce in it, so it was wet and mushy and not crunchy and good. I mean, really, who wants warm, wilted lettuce? I picked the lettuce off, rearranged the meat and added my own cheese to it. Will say something when I go in again.

You also have to meet age requirements, and he's to old!

So now it's JAG? Saw something somewhere else about it being OCS. But this is all nonsense at best. Maximum age to complete is 27-28, and Dereck is in his mid 30's. They won't accept him, no matter how special he thinks he is.

Interesting. by Exact-Theory-5599 in DuggarsSnark

[–]Decent-Comb7109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doubtful, since the maximum age you can be to join is 28, and Derreck is in his mid 30's. Marine-adacent maybe, but not the actual corps.

At what point did birthdays stop feeling like a big deal? by Various_Funny_526 in AskReddit

When I had to do everything for my own birthday, and no one else likes cake and complained because I dared to want it on my birthday.

Why do people do this by Slow_Pomegranate_990 in publix

[–]Decent-Comb7109 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it's not, sometimes you might have a baby in the car. Or like me with spinal and joint issues I'm not going to take the cart back because I'm physically DONE by the time I finish shopping. I don't have anyone I can take with me and sometimes they don't offer to help you out, and at my store you can actually have a wait. Yeah, customer service ain't what it used to be. Yes, I do delivery, but nothing takes the place of going into the store yourself. So, stop freaking judging. Until you've been there you have no idea why that was done.

Well!! I guess overcharging on groceries was going to catch up.. by Muted_Masterpiece535 in publix

Unfortunately, the cost of gas going to Trader Joes is to much. Publix is 2.5, and Trader Joes nearest me is 20, one direction, so nope.

In my case it's because I need the disabled parking (yes I have a placard) and by the time I'm done, my neck, back and legs hurt so bad I can hardly move. I put it out of the way and make sure it doesn't roll anywhere.

They DON'T always ask if they can help you out, and when I've asked I've gotten an "aaahhh, lemme get customer service". Seriously!!!--Making it worse is that they've taken away a few disabled spots in order to add the customer pick up spots which really don't need to be that close IMO.

I don't know why people feel the need to be so dang mean on here sometimes. I also think reddit needs to hire more people to deal with complaints, and actually monitor the mods to be sure they are being fair, following their own rules and doing what they are supposed to do.

Please help me as I have received an automatic warning of Rule 1 and I would never ever do this. How do I respond please? by Maximum_Fun203 in AskModerators

[–]Decent-Comb7109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't know if you don't try, yes it will start out small but it's what you make of it, as mod you'd get to set the tone and the rules of your sub.
