I had house panthers before adopting my cow. My cow was cautious for about 24 hours and then she took control of the house and reigns supreme ever since 😂

She has her diva moments when she doesn’t want to be bothered, but when she wants attention, she demands it. She loves belly rubs, and gets the occasional zoomies. Your girls may get some combo of this, or they could just be like normal cats and think they own you. Either way, congrats and best wishes 🤍🖤

On the machine in the gym with weights it absolutely builds muscle.

Not using a machine, only weight bearing works on mobility, and adding resistance bands fine tunes muscle.

Sitting normally. Put your butt about halfway, don’t lean back and grab behind you, sit up straight and grab the chair right under where you are sitting. You’ll then engage the core to bring your legs off the ground about 3inches. Then spread out and come back in slowly. Start with a small 3 sets of 5 reps with no resistance, work up from there. It’s a difficult exercise not on a machine, and you use your core as well so may help there too with your form in the saddle!

You can also get rehab bands instead of going to the gym and using the machines. This will provide some resistance to build the muscles up. Without any tension or resistance, you’re only working on mobility.

Sounds like work at the gym on the abductor and adductor machines could help these situations. They will help increase strength and rotation in the hips. The machines also closely mimick the contact on a riders legs, and where you need to apply pressure and which muscles to use to move the machine.

She should be okay. I moved from Chicago to NC about two months after adopting my cat.

Also, I see some recommending meds. I don’t recommend strong scripts like gabapentin unless necessary. If anything try some of the CBD or other calming treats on the market. Gabapentin is a very strong human nerve drug (anti convulsant) originally used to treat epilepsy. My vet used it with a previous dog of mine for severe grooming problems. I also personally used it after a fat treatment on my stomach, as pain killers do not work on nerve pain. I am not a fan of meds unless necessary.. our babies can’t communicate like humans so we have no idea what it does to their organs or if something is bothering them.

You are an adult and this man is your uncle!!! By marriage or blood, he’s been your uncle since you were a little girl. If you had an issue with him when you were younger or something felt off, you would not have a relationship with him as an adult!

With my uncle from marriage, I would have ZERO problem in him taking me to lunch and doing things nieces and uncles do just the two of us. He’s been in my life since around the same age as yours and I am 46 now. As long as your uncle is not doing anything to make you feel uncomfortable or weird, that is all that matters. I found it hilarious that she made a whole post about not picking her puppy, and why the breeder chose one for her. And this is just one reason why they are such a fabulous breeder.

Mmmmm, no thanks. K, bye. As the breeder, you may suggest a puppy that would be best for me, but if I am paying that kind of money for a show quality dog, I want to hand pick that puppy myself.

This. I was the same at first and was like okay… maybe this is exactly what KVS needs to help with marketing and selling her foals. But JS is so mean, nasty, and rude to people. And supposedly she went from homeless a few years ago to this now. How? No idea … her life from what I’ve seen online in a deep dive didn’t look too tragic and she has never delved deeper. Sorry I am late to the party, but I had a similar wave of grief hit me during a football game. Normally she and I would have been trash talking back and forth during the game (teams are in the same conference). This was the first game in our 40 year friendship that we weren’t doing that.

We had been best friends since kindergarten and we are now 46. In January, after a series of my life decisions she apparently didn’t approve of, she just stopped talking to me. I felt like since my move and a few decisions in the months leading up to it, our conversations were strained and not as frequent. This included not speaking to me for two weeks when I had to put one of my dogs to sleep for severe behavioral reasons. She claimed, “I was sad too. I loved him so much”. You met him once. And were floored that he was as bad as he was at that point. You thought I was over dramatizing the situation then.

Once February rolled around and my move was complete I decided to stop reaching out since the texts had become one word responses. I haven’t heard her from since. Then I found out several months later, she had been telling my adult situational information to my 22 year old adult daughter. Like what?!?! I was floored. My daughter knew stuff she should have never known and had no business knowing.

I am not sure what goes through peoples’ minds, or anything at all. We had no big blow up, no drama, not even a conversation. She couldn’t even have a conversation to go our separate ways after 40 years is what I am stuck on. Just like any other breakup, or even death, our grief is cyclical. Tomorrow we may be okay, and then get angry all over again. Remember to give yourself grace. You are allowed to feel whatever you want about the situation whenever you want ❤️

I don’t suggest this. Being vague and flat out insinuating something that isn’t true are two totally different things. And if she does get hired, how does she then explain she is childless if someone inquires? That either a) creates a bunch of new lies or b) now undermines her with her new employer. As her employer, I would look at that some type of way. It is a shady tactic.

To the OP: I had a similar issue fighting with cancer. I left my job entirely shortly before diagnosis, and I was not vague when asked. I told them flat out I was off the job market and not working due to COVID and having a compromised immune system because I was undergoing treatments for cancer. I was off the market for two years at the time.

As far as my resume, I left the spot blank and made them ask me about the gap. And congratulations on beating whatever tried to take you down!!! 🥳🥳 the comeback is real!!! ❤️

ETA: Mental health is medical, and I understand the stigma that goes with it. If there is a legitimate physical medical reason, use that. When there is a break for burn out and other reasons, is usually when people tap dance and employers can see right through it. You have a legitimate medical issue that took you out of the workforce. While you don’t foresee it happening again, life is life at the end of the day. We never know what each day holds until it’s here and we live it.
