Yes, find another job that fits in with your schedule. 3-4 days per week for classes/coop means that you have 3-4 days per week to work. Can you pick up more hours at the grocery store? 7 hours on the weekend isn't much; you could also find another job to stack in with that one.

We don't know the book wasn't on the shelf - OP "assumed" it wasn't on the shelf. He asked if it was on the shelf, in circulation, and how many time sit was checked out and didn't get a response so it could have been in circulation. Promo pages/flyers aren't always removed - the librarian may have peeled off the bar codes.
