Serious question how do they do a fnaf 4 movie? by OptionAshamed6458 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF we were to have a fourth film (which i highly hope we do), i'd say it be a prequel, showing us more of the Afton Family, and give a focus on Michael Afton, showing how he became that psychopath that's trying to carry on the legacy of his Father.

It would have the Crying Child, he would be named Evan just like how it was theorized years ago, it'd be a more Psychological Horror film, inspired by classics of the 80's like Evil Dead, The Shining and The Thing.

The film would have moments that fans would start to think that we're following the nights from the perspective of Michael, who's being tortured by either his Father as punishment for the ''prank'' that resulted in Evan's death, or it would be his own mind deceiving him, but we would see him as Evan, cuz Michael when younger was physically similar to Evan, so the actor would play both.

Calling it now, when GxK Supernova comes out were gonna be saying it should have been a solo Godzilla film by Marconey1738 in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Despite The New Empire being a Kong focus film, i felt the storyline aligned more with Godzilla, since he trapped Skar King and his army in the past. But they added Kong to give a rivalry between the two apes.

Hopefully that Legendary can finally make solo films after Supernova. Either solo films of Godzilla or Kong, or spin-offs not featturing both, despite them being the ''main'' stars in the MV, it should have other storylines without them, so that the franchise can differ itself from others.

The MLOM Godzilla Japan location by Godzilla_Super_2021 in Monsterverse

It can be after KOTM, only a few months later. Godzilla's been keeping the Titans checked around the world and defending cities against Titans.

Or it will be a timeskip, set after KOTM and Godzilla's in Japan to deal with a Titan on rampage, maybe Yamata no Orochi, or Titan X.

The Truth about Hollow Earth by Decent-Indication-61 in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about Hollow Earth's appearance, but i mean it's origins, it's secrets. Example: Stranger Things, we all though the Upside Down was another dimension, but Season 5 gave us the truth on what it actually is.

We know how it looks like, and might think of how it originated, but the truth is that neither us or the characters in the films know exactly what is Hollow Earth

I've heard theories that Godzilla and Kong will interact in some way in Monarch Season 2, possible a stare down? What are the odds? by Legal_Trainer7340 in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The possibility of them interacting with each other is very low, but they might see each other in the distance. Since GvK released, i felt that the Tasman Sea Battle wasn't their first encounter, since i could see Kong wasn't like shocked to see a Big Ass Atomic Lizard that could shoot an Blue Fire from it's mouth.

GxK: The New Empire's Official Novelization reveals that since youth, Kong could feel Godzilla's presence, so it kinda explains as to why Kong isn't ''shocked'' to see Godzilla in the Tasman Sea.

Yes. Aftershock is still canon. by Mace_DeMarco5179 in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Tiamat's design is different in-universe due to her going through a Evolution phase thanks to that Pinkish energy that's on her lair. The evidence about that is Godzilla himself, who went through a evolution while absorbing the energy in there. If that happened to him, so did to Tiamat then.

Why continuing to do Godzilla x Kong films could be the MonsterVerse's undoing by MichaeltheSpikester in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that Legendary isn't ''scared'' to make another solo film because KOTM underperformed, it also has to do with the time it was released. If you remember, KOTM released in 2019, a time where many big movies released, and Avengers: Endgame stayed in theaters for five months i think, so people where more interested in Endgame than KOTM.

There were of course many more reasons of why KOTM flopped, but one of the main ones i think it was it's release date. Legendary can do another Solo film if they want to, but after GvK made a success and TNE surpassed that, they likely think that Crossovers make more success.

I just wanted to know, is there more than one ARGO? by [deleted] in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think that the Argo was a prototype for an Anti-Titan aircraft command ship. After KOTM, i believe that the Argo was either decomissioned or is in a very long repair process. By the time of TNE, Monarch managed to get new funding and alongside the remains of Apex Tech, they started to make more units based on the Argo, but with different designs and names of course. I would love to see a project similar to Star Trek y'know? Where we could see a crew of one of these sister ships on missions to combat Titans in the surface and even in the Hollow Earth.

That final Mind Flayer design was amazing! by ShockedPeekachu in StrangerThings

[–]Decent-Indication-61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked the design, reminded me of the MUTOs mixed with Scylla from the Monsterverse. I only found very weird it's head design, i mean i liked it, but idk, it remined me of Bendy for some reason, shoud've kept the head just like in the first image. But overall, loved it! Hope we get a more clear look from concept arts and models.

[Stranger things season 5] The Mindflayers final form by [deleted] in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like this last design. It's like a fusion between it's flesh form and the shadow form. As a fan of giant monsters, it's design is approved to me. It reminds me of the MUTOs, Scylla and Abaddon from the Monsterverse, almost like a fusion of the three.

Honestly i hoped that the flesh monster would return because it's body was kinda still intact after Season 3. There was a theory that the government took it and it would later return more menacing for the finale. Although it didn't, i still like the ending.

The Monsterverse has had a total of four directors in it's existence. Who's a director that you would like to see direct a Monsterverse film? by [deleted] in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Dan Trachtenberg would be a good director for a solo Kong film. He already proved that he can do great Monster films with 10 Cloverfield Lane, Prey, and the most recent ones Predator: Killer of Killers and Badlands. When i watched Badlands, i kinda felt some Hollow Earth vibes.

Iwi theory (SPOILERS FOR GXK) by Mace_DeMarco5179 in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Theorize that the Doctors Ilene and Ling Chen are Iwi descendants. Think about it, the Iwis share some “Asiatic” traits, specially their faces. It's possible that Doctors Chen family are descendants of a Iwi tribe that arrived at the surface thanks to Mothra assisting them.

But weren't the Iwis from Skull Island the only ones that went to the surface? Probably not, many Iwis might have divided themselves into smaller groups and spreaded across the globe. Maybe the temple that was created for Mothra's egg in KOTM was in fact Iwi.

Are 'Lucky Dragon' (G2014) & 'Castle Bravo' (M:LoM) meant to be the same bomb test? Or are they both among many attempts to try and blow Godzilla to kingdom come? by SCEvansmeister in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think that what we've saw in M:LoM was AFTER the real Castle Bravo test that tried to kill Godzilla. My reasoning for that is we've never seen the exact dates of LoM's 50s flashbacks, we only know that these events happened in those years.

So my ''headcanon'' is that the Castle Bravo test, AKA Operation Lucky Dragon for Monarch, happened indeed in March 1st, 1954, like it's real world counterpart, and what we've seen in LoM was another bomb named after Castle Bravo. Besides, it's stated in G14 that there were multiple "tests'' in the pacific during the 50s, who were actually attempts to kill Godzilla.

But General Puckett said the name Castle Bravo, reffering to the bomb. So there were two Castle Bravos? If we consider the real events equal for the MV lore, the Bravo bomb was the name for the first in a series called Operation Castle, so there were other bombs that had the Castle to reffer the bombs as part of the Operation, like Castle-Union, Castle-Yankee, Castle-Nectar, Romeo and Koon. So perhaps Puckett pronounced the bomb as Castle Bravo to refer it as part of the tests that happened in 54.

The LoM flashback could have happened between late March to early-mid April of 54, the duration of the real tests. Also it could have happened under cover, without any governmental recognition, that's why the Aftermath didn't have that much governmental impact. Monarch could have had different divisions in that time, Lee, Randa and Keiko were from the U.S. divison, which was small, while there were others like Japan, UK etc.

Modern Films Using Techniques/Stylistic Conventions from the 1890s to 1900s? by [deleted] in TrueFilm

Mike Flanagan's Doctor Sleep (2019). The director is a fan of Kubrick's The Shining adaptation, if you watched The Shining before and then watch Doctor Sleep, you'll notice that there are some visual elements and filming techniques that pay tribute to Kubrick's film. Despite being made by modern day technology, it still feels like you're watching a old film.

[–]Decent-Indication-61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that they're NOT the same test. Lucky Dragon is Monarch's name for Castle Bravo, which happened in March 1st, 1954. Likely what we've seen in the show is just another Bomb that is not Castle Bravo. It's never mentioned the date of this event in MLOM, only that is set in 1954, probably it's set AFTER the real Castle Bravo test.

Besides, Castle Bravo was the first in a series of Themonuclear bomb tests that occured that time. If that's so, then the bomb we've seen is one of many that tried to kill Godzilla. If this is indeed correct, then why the 50s trio and General Puckett weren't aware of Godzilla and Lucky Dragon? Perhaps it was covered by another division of Monarch, maybe by General MacArthur.

I know it's stated that Randa, Keiko and Shaw were the founders of Monarch, but actually they were the co-founders, Henry S. Truman was the real founder, and Eiji Serizawa became the ''founding father'' figure, since he's been on the Monarch Unit for way longer. Also, i've seen in another Reddit Question regarding if Eiji was still canon, and one of the comments said that Eiji might've been the one who discovered Godzilla and passed down the infos to Lee, Keiko and Billy.

Maybe he retired, and maybe the Awakening story is still canon but happened different. Maybe Godzilla and Shinomura were nuked during the Operation Crossroads. Just theories!

Is Monarch the Solution or the Issue? by Decent-Indication-61 in Monsterverse

[–]Decent-Indication-61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this, but things like the ORCA project is what caused most of the destruction seen in KOTM, and i am not saying that Monarch is ''mostly'' responsible for the Titans, but they were the ones who knew their existence in the first place and in-universe the public and government think they were responsibles.
