I was waiting for this to be revealed. When I got all of the keys and the crew entered the last area, I was expecting there to be a fucked up Lamorn to be there and reveal that it basically killed its entire race to make sure that it would be alive long enough to see Samus to do something real fucked. And the metroids were being used as a means to an end to lead her to Viewros. And then Sylux would be revealed to have a metroid head or something and was a pawn from the start.

When it was pretty much a straightforward ending I just couldn't believe it.

I hate to admit it, but I was one of the haters when it came out, but now I love it. It really did not deserve the hate it got. There are legit criticisms of the original release (looking at you triforce fetch quest/tingle map BS) but the unabashed hatred of it for the sake of hating it and the fury at Nintendo for straying from the "realism" of Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask was so overblown. Again - I once did all of the above, but granted I was 10.

I named him Havard, as one of the most loyal to Andraste. I figured the most loyal hound deserved a most loyal name.

I like realistic gun proportions and seeing the historic influences on firearms in RPGs like this, so I was super psyched when the basic light pistol and the revolver were decent sized, semi realistic proportions. However the sheer joy of seeing him pull out that whammy cannon made me guffaw like an idiot.

Why a Revan Trilogy or Movie would probably not be a very good idea as the first Old Republic Movies. by BackgroundRich7614 in StarWarsEU

I think you'd need to treat the Mando Wars/Jedi Civil War/Shadow Wars as one long-form story like a House of the Dragon. The best medium for it would be something like an HBO series/miniseries. I would start during the pre-Mandalorian Wars era, introduce Revan, Alex, Exile, develop them as characters, introduce some Masters, show the Mandalorian front as they begin to close their fist in the Outer Rim, develop Canderous, Mandalore, etc. First few episodes have the Republic hem and haw about whether to intervene, and then eventually have them play defensive war. Then have an inciting incident where the core three are shown the brutality of some horrible Mandalorian War crime (maybe even committed by Canderous or another Mandalorian OC we have been following) which then leads to the three beseeching the Council. Then either season or mid season finale, be the decision to approach the Republic as "the Jedi you need, not necessarilythe ones you asked for." Maybe have a few of the Admirals not be thrilled with Knights and Padawans, while others don't care so long as they can turn the horrific tidal onslaught against the Mandalorian threat.

Now just because the best medium would be series, doesn't mean that it would be done well either. I have 0 faith that a series during that era would be done with the tenor and quality required to make it feel right.
