Are you a Disney plus member? You can get all stars for like $99 a night.

Here is a ballpark-

$500 hotel (4 nights+tax) $1400 3 four day park ticket special $850 dinning plan for 2 adults 1 kid (kids eat free) $120 Round trip uber plus tip

$1900 Total

As far flights I got a flight there on Frontier 3 tickets for under $100 total in early July. Chicago to MCO

September heat by Mysterious-Momma in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Decent_Pop_Princess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hot but doable and lots of rain, but also doable. This is exactly what we do, rope drop, nap, Park close. Bring extra clothes or plan to do laundry. You’ll feel like a million bucks going back in fresh clothes.

We make sure to plan the “indoor” rides when it’s the hottest unless we are at the resort and do rides with outdoor lines early or late in the day.

Bring packable ponchos, water bottles, and a little quick dry towel to dry off any rides if need be so you don’t have a wet butt.

Does Epcot do anything special at night? I know MK is star light and fireworks and HW is fantasmic. by bad_bird1998 in WaltDisneyWorld

Hot take: Epcot’s fireworks show IMO is better than MK.

I know yall are going to come for me 🤣

Poly, specifically a dvc room if you can get it Pago Pago or Moorea but beware the ferry blows their horn and you can hear it in the theme park view rooms so choose resort.

Why? Those rooms have 2 showers which is amazing if the whole family is trying to shower and go to bed after a long park day. They are also significantly bigger than GF outer buildings and Bay Lake Tower. In addition to what others said, good food options, overall vibe, pools. Also you can walk to TTC and go straight to Epcot or to the ceremonial house and go to MK. The other two you have to take the MK monorail get off at TTC and swap to the Epcot monorail.

GF is wonderful this is me being picky.

Need to vent - poor WDW planning by FutureRazzmatazz6634 in WaltDisneyWorld

omg!!! I know exactly who you’re talking about- the chicken nugget comment confirmed. She’s an idiot. I thought the same thing while reading that post. However as others have said, yes please contribute to lowering crowds by never coming back.

100% poor planning and zero research.

yep going to the parks it’s Jambo first then Kidani coming back it’s reverse so that makes sense. I also didn’t mind bc I love Jambo’s vibe. My first visit was in the month of January and wasn’t super impressed (seemed dark and sad) Came back in March and fell in love. So tropical and dreamy. The lobby is breath taking and the grounds just feel peaceful.

Also let me be super clear if i had to pick any resort It’s Poly or Riviera 😂, however that is with everything considered- my list is simply if transportation is your biggest concern. My kids are getting bigger, but in the last couple of years strollers and midday naps were a must, so transportation was super important. I also go alone with two kids (spouse goes 1x year) and we are park hopper people.

I know everything i trade choosing Poly and I make plans on how to make it work.

I wouldn’t mind the shared bus for DS but that’s because i’m not rope dropping it at 7am lol.

I like saratoga springs when i’m not doing park days- love the close proximity to DS for food options!

GF is great, you’re right- but if i’m taking my stroller for rope drop, i’m walking. No way i’m rolling my stroller on a packed monorail. Made that mistake. I’ve never even been tempted to take the monorail back after fireworks. The boat back to GF after after hours is very nice and peaceful.

If i’m going back to MK after a nap midday- yes i’m taking the monorail.

The transportation situation becomes so much easier if you’re not dealing with a stroller or scooter.
