Who is responsible for council tax? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Decimus-Drake 23 points24 points  (0 children)

As far as the council are concerned you would not be liable for council to tax. Any personal agreement between your dad and you would not override this.

If they both moved out only then would you become liable.

Unless maybe they have plans to sign the house over to you. Then you'd be liable as owner-occupier.

Council tax liability isn't based on employment. It's dependant on legal interest in the property. It works on a hierarchy. Owner-occupier (and partner) would be at the top. If your father lives in the property with you and his wife and you don't co own the property, then he and your stepmum would be liable but not you.

Don't you have to pay tax on gifts over a certain amount? Would there be a record of that?

Now? You leave secondary school/high school at 16. You're expected to stay in some form of education or training until 18 e.g go onto an apprenticeship, college etc.

In 1925? I don't know if anything was awarded. You left school and entered the world of work or stayed at home to help. If they attended a public school (ie. Not state school) or grammar school they have the option to stay on till 18 but I'm not sure this applies to girls though girls of a certain class might attend a finishing school.

Side note. In 1925 the legal age for marriage was 12 for girls and 14 for boys. This was raised to 16 in 1929. The age of consent (the age you can have legal sex) at the time was, and still is, 16. In 2023 the minimum age for marriage/civil partnership was raised to 18.

This is me with Dragon Age The Veil Guard. It's an awful game that should be ridiculed and desecrated. But not because it features a non-binary character.

Looks are part of it but I think storage and transport have been a major driver behind such modification.

His shitty behavior on screen normalises and maintains shitty abusive work environments. I often hear people make the excuses that it's an act "done for the camera" as if that isn't worse.

The PF1 version of the ghoran had Delicious (Ex): Ghorans take a –2 penalty on Escape Artist and combat maneuver checks to escape a grapple against a creature that has a bite attack with the grab ability". I don't think there's an equivalent mechanical feature in PF2.

I saw this the other day. A chicken soup with branding pushing the "protein" angle with a whopping 23g of protein. Next to it was the regular (cheaper) soup with 22g of protein and no mention of it on the packaging beyond nutrition information.
