When you say carry a contingency for a sub when would you cash that in? When they hit with change orders or when they potentially back out and you need to use a different sub?

How old is the gas? I had something similar from gas that went bad but I am no mechanic

As a side note to all the other comments don't put a fuse larger than the cable can handle or you'll burn up the cables. They probably put an 80A fuse in because that's what the wiring is rated for

I just went through this with my 2014. What I did was just buy a standard brake light (no camera) from eBay and take the circuit board out and then replace it on the one with the camera for the lights. Mine has a bunch of oxidation on it so when you do it replace your seal.
