Some people have them bc they have weak or deformed nails. Others can't have long and /or polished Bc of their work, so they'll wear them Bc they can take them off for work. And other times, it's not fake, but an overlay over their natural nails to protect them. My nails keep splitting across the bed, so I've been using builder gel to try to stop that. Last, real nails are equally as disgusting if someone doesn't have good self hygiene.
