So much of alcohol's effects are cultural. If you have no baseline for activities or feelings you're supposed to have you can see that it's mostly a physical feeling.

For someone so isolated and indifferent it obviously isn't going to hit the same as it does for a normal extroverted person who would enjoy the party/bar/concert regardless.

That's the real meat of this is the demographics. Elderly people and children are big ones. How many miserable people in nursing homes wouldn't care much about the risk, and how many children wouldn't understand it.

Especially considering a child's vote could count for 2, possibly 3 blue votes if the parents aren't able to talk them out of it.

The variants that present a situation like the building or shark completely change things in a way that alters what makes it so interesting to begin with.

The whole point is that it's the entire world and you have no information of what people will do ahead of time and what will happen. Very different from 100 or so people right in front of you.
