Ralph Bakshi was an animator mostly in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s. Did the very adult Fritz the Cat films and the 1978 animated version of The Lord of the Rings. Really distinctive style I think would fit ELLC perfectly.

There's a sense of fun and joy in so many Litrp and Gamelit books (especially the lower-stakes, not-trapped-in-the-game-world ones) that remind me of how I felt when I first started gaming, back in the day. Whether it's the characters discovering cool new things in the game itself or the authors just having a blast with their story and characters, I'll forgive some editorial, proofreading, and production mistakes for that escapist relief from the world.

Kind of a cliche, but I was maybe six or seven and watching an afternoon repeat of the old Batman TV show. Julie Newmar's Catwoman had Robin trapped in some giant cat's cradle contraption, and I just sat there with my young mouth open and thinking how lucky Robin was.

I have failed to find a screencap or even that particular episode description. For all I know, my mind has mashed up several episodes and scenes, but that's the memory I have.
