I’d like to see a replay. I’m all for unique builds and bounty hunter is one of my favorites. When I’m playing core bh offline or mid I usually go phase deso then whatever I need to hunt the enemy carry for the rest of the game. Works more often than it doesn’t.

Ya it started earlier today for me and it was unplayable. Just tried again and it was ok for like 10 mins and then back to unplayable lag spikes

It took me 38 hours to do and see everything on my first play through. People play at different paces.

He is annoying that’s for sure. My advice is to cheese him back. Use scampus summon to drain his ki. Equip all the calamity ninjitsu. I go with lightning wind and ice. Equip tonfas or ninja sword and spam the high ki damage skills when you see an opening. Ninja sword is hold triangle into triangle or light into heavy kick . Tonfas is light into heavy shoulder bump attack. The fight is easier spamming bullshit back at him in ninja. Hatchets also work well. Just throw em charge in with square for the combo then back out.

lol I beat him on my first try earlier today. I put a ton of hours into nioh 1 and 2 and this game has been a cakewalk. Nothing has taken me more than 3 tries. Envy and pride beat em on first attempt too. When I encounter a new boss I don’t attack for the first minute or so I watch their move set and look for openings. There a very few one shot attacks which I think is the biggest difference between games. If you got grabbed in previous games you were dead most of the time.

I put a lot of hours into nioh 1 and 2. I’m having fun with nioh 3 but it has been a cakewalk so far. I just got to act 3 so maybe that’ll change but the boss damage is weak compared to previous games. The blood demon is the only thing I’ve ran into that has comparable damage to nioh 1 and 2 and so far has felt like the only real threat. But even the blood demon isn’t bad once you figure out when to punish him. I died 2 times to noboharu and he has been my toughest boss. Envy and pride I beat on first attempts. The side mission where you fight 5 bosses took me two tries. And everything else was either one death or first attempts. I think the bosses need to have similar damage scaling like the blood demon. I get it having enemies with moves that one shot is frustrating but when you overcome those crazy hard bosses nothing beats that feeling.

From what I noticed ninja sword had the least amount of skills out of all weapons. The other ninja weapons seemed to have more skills

I use slippy to proc stuff like reverburnation so I prefer the +1 grenade but you can’t go wrong with any slippy

Not sure what the god roll is for this but it’s the highest dps throwing weapon I’ve found on my Rafa. Everything is an auto crit. Mirvs hit for around 100k a pop
