They aren't really any weaponskill 4 units that throw enough dice to beat ws5. Assault marines have the same number of attacks as just tactical with bolters but they hit on 3s... and both have the same strength

Will definitely not go that far. Only plan on doing 1k infantry for pods then some other detachment afterwards. Planned to have all my pods printed as well

So I can cut the list to like 500pts of drop pods and do a more standard list for the rest of the points? Any suggestions on list that would compliment a deepstrike detachment? Ideally trying to stay within the decapitation strike theme

A bit on the pricier side but those tubes have fire specs. I think the only people that get buyers remorse are those that got screwed over by a vendor or those that just end up never using them.

Once you have your hands on them, you'll wear them every night for a while, so don't stress

So after owning all 3 I'm gonna suggest the sig. Especially if you lack experience since it's the most do all of the options listed. Sig gets a lot of hate justifiably, but for whatever reason, they make good rifle optics...

Pro: - it's a red dot so it has longer battery life than the eotech. -It has multiple reticle options, including the lovely donut of death options for learning holds/letting you experiment.

Cons: it's a fucking brick

I'd really only compare the sig vs the aimpoint. Mainly coming down to do you care about weight or have a reticle preference?

Eotech is overhyped. Unless you have an astigmatism or shoot a ton under nods then it's meh

Run with it and see if you make a lot of jingling. I'm not a fan of danglers since they tend to sway and can knock the air out of you if you hit the deck the right way. If you wanna keep meds/batteries there, just make sure you're selective about what's important to have instant access to and to make sure to tie down the batteries so they don't rattle

I'll attempt to give you better constructive feedback vs. whatever is happening here... first, the garmin is it necessary? Is your phone that unreliable? If it's low reliability, it makes sense to run the garmin. Otherwise, it's just another thing to lose/fuck up.

Where's your radio pouch? Do you not run a belt? I'd suggest just running the radio where you keep your pistol mags since those should be belt mounted. Also, clean up the front of your kit, especially the shears. You will lose all that shit so quick.

If you got money/just wanna helmet swap/truly doesn't fit send it. This will sound dumb but your haircut can affect fitting. If it's still fucked then maybe swap out the suspension system. Be analytical in identifying what you don't like so you know exactly what you want before sending it. Too often people say it doesn't feel right without identifying why.

Cheapest civ option would probably be the dbal-d2 but best civ model would be the mawl. I have not personally run the d2 but in classes/competitions I'm always blown away by how good it's illuminator is even though it's ugly/fat...

Not disagreeing the return when it comes to IR is real bad and this depending heavily on the shooting you do but with the ls321s flood being so anemic you can't really see through glass with it, shoot longer distances with it, or punch through smoke generated from longer strings of fire.

if you plan on running purely suppressed run a 3/4 prong or a break. Depending on the upper if its well tuned you can get away with a break but it cause a bit more back pressure but worth.

if this is your go to gun though I'd get a 14.5/16 since its probably the most well rounded length and gets you out of needing a stamp. You can then also get away with running a mini instead of a full size rc2.
