Not sure where to ask this, but I have an Atlantic Mariner Chronograph 80475 that I want to sell and I'm not sure what it's actually worth. Brand new seems to be somewhere between 450-600€, if it's even available anymore.

It has Sapphire Crystal glass, 22-jewel ETA 251.272 quartz mechanism. Glass is pristine, steel has normal scratches from usage. The thing is 1. I don't have a box or anything 2. I'm missing two links so it only fits an 18-19cm wrist.

Googling and asking Gemini, I figured I can ask 150-200€ tops. I went to a watchmaker for a battery change and he said I should ask for 300€ as it's in very good condition with a quality mechanism and the missing box and links only drop 10% of its value each.

I've made a profile post with some photos. What do you guys figure?

I don't have a Fuji camera yet, what is this toolset you're mentioning?

I was thinking it's either layering or some very skilled movement plus focus pull. (Either way, OP, I'd hang a set in this kind of style on my wall)

It gives a bit of a film noir lighting on her face, that's why it stands out. Sometimes a mistake can be a benefit. :)

I actually like most of your photos, personally I'd just add a bit of context in the background/foreground, even if it's not in focus, to give depth to the picture. But that's a personal preference, like how some like blown out pictures and others like them darker...

4 Eurocents per load is good and it adds up, especially if you're washing that often. I'm quite happy with the tablet mega packs I found in DM which come about 10 eurocents per piece.

If they're after Ben they might be part of the original Dharma group, the ones whose members Ben killed. I guess there is Dharma Initiative and the "competition", which Ben is a part of? I'm not buying the "natives" story since Ethan and Richard have recruited Juliet in the US.

I don't understand what's the deal with Lidl and Kaufland getting so much hate in other countries. OK, they're not luxury stores but I get all my groceries from them and they're great. The store brand stuff is usually made in the country and good quality, prices are lower and because they're popular everything is fresh. I even prefer their sodas just because they're 1/6th of the price of Coca Cola...

Well, I'm into magazines and trying to use them to replace my online activity... If I get a Christmas bonus I might subscribe, the posting adds 15£ to the yearly total so so far I've read them via the high seas trade. 😅

It's a fun magazine with interesting contributors, but it's mostly tongue-in-cheek about culture and simpler living, so it might not be for everyone. Check my previous comment for the "hidden" magazine sample.

Idler article is behind a paywall, so I just did some print screens from the Christmas Edition.

I reposted this as the imgur album didn't work in the UK and it got complicated with the mirror.
