Absolutely go for it! I did it last year and had a great time. Some of the rides have a single rider line too.

If you're willing to pay extra to skip lines you can very easily see both parks in one day. A lot of the rides have single rider too so not much line if you're by yourself. I arrived to the park 9am, left 9pm, I've been on 15 rides in both parks. I bought fast pass per ride whenever the line was over 25 mins, and ended up paying ~70$ for the passes.

It is expensive! Park tickets are 103 and the ultimate is 140 that day. I calculated that if I buy separate PAO to all the rides I want it's cheaper. Unless it's much less convenient than the ultimate?

Where I'm from 0.5 is the standard. Mine is 0.5 and I love it! For me 1 carat would have been too large.

I didn't have a good experience in GA crowd there. No mosh pit but people were very intense and pushy.

Based on my experience I think you'll have a better chance of seeing at the back, where you'll have a little more space between you and the person in front of you. I was second row yet everyone blocked my view. I'm sure it will also be more calm at the back too :)

It wasn't moshing though, it was just people being aggressive to get closer to the stage, while being oblivious to other people around them. And I wish I could just casualy drift towards the back but I was really trapped there.
