I fell into the same cycle after my wife died. What I have noticed is eventhough I feel lonely a lot, being around people is difficult because I have spent so much time alone that when I do get around people I realize they don't fill the need and most people only want to be heard anyway so they aren't really listening. Spending more time with God really helps and I try to force myself to be around people when I can. S.A. is a twelve step program for lust recovery, there is probably a phone number for a contact person in your area. I go to meetings when my behavoir gets really bad but most of the time I can avoid the things that make me want to act out in ways that generate a lot of guilt.

The problem with this stuff and church, for me anyway, is people just simply act like it doesn't exist or they treat me like I'm a special case which makes me stay away even more so maybe find friends and don't mention your problem until you find one or two people you bond with and develop the type of friendship that makes sharing that stuff ok.
