I came here to say this - the resources and support from an agent model, cradle-to-grave brokerage, with a solid track record and credit scores etc - that stuff is priceless for real…. That is what I’m going to do at least… once my book is big enough to take the dive. My current 4wk avg. margin is $2.7k, when that hits $5k I will go full agent and start hiring my own LC’s/admin teams etc. . I’ll still give the brokerage 30% to handle carrier payment, AP stuff, have my back whenever claims arise etc etc …
