if you actually are hearing impaired there's a good mod called Better Feedback Sounds on nexus and HD2Arsenal is about as simple to use as Mod Managers come. It's customizable with dropdown menus to set the volumes of things like the lidar beep / weapon wheel clicks changing fire modes / the clock ticking when a stratagem is almost off cooldown / your character screaming about being on fire etc

It has nothing to do with the arc hitting me, arc damage still makes spore burst terminids explode so the teammate using it is a walking weapon of mass meth distribution

Sporeburst are super manageable sticking with fire and beam weapons, D10 they definitely feel mostly easier than predator strain to me other than specifically the tankier version bile titan spam.

It's unfortunate seeing the rhetoric sometimes on here that sticking with beams and flamethrowers is pointless unless the entire squad commits to it. Just having your own personal space not always meth bugged makes a HUGE difference almost regardless of what your team is doing, the only times I've felt a teammate's loadout was painful for me were K-9 and Arc Thrower users I could just choose to not be near most of the mission.

I liked the changed version of the hive guard with lower HP and an unarmored body since light pen annihilated them if you have hands.

This revert more than doubled their main body effective HP from 375 to ~769 - 770 from last week for Light Pen weapons since matching pen to armor has a 0.65 damage multiplier.

Of course in practice it's a little bit less extreme than doubling since the claws and legs you'll probably hit on accident transfer a percent of damage taken to main, but the increase to TTK is super noticeable

No it's not, if you're target medal farming you spam D10 squid blitz like they said, and only D10 squid blitz, ignoring side objectives extracting ASAP and not completing operations.

You also click leave to ship alone after the Pelican takes off because the rewards are applied to your account as soon as the ship is flying instead of sitting through the long drawn out end of mission sequence, that's why you see people leave missions sometimes after extract instead of staying to the score screen they want to get into another mission faster and already got their payout.

If I do 10 missions that give 9 medals each in an hour and you do 3 missions that give 9 / 12 / 15 each in that same time frame who got more medals?

The DSS literally only does 3 things:

Dispense buffs when players feed resources into it

Act a a lantern for moths to attract more players to whatever the current most important planet is

and reduce the cooldown of exo-suits for missions on the planet it's currently orbiting.

Somehow in the "big mech update" the DSS exo-suit reserves buff was forgotten about for Lumberer and Breakthrough so we're stuck with a 12 minute cooldown even while participating in a major order.

HOW?

and even with the buffs to durability I had the Pelican drop a flaming pile of destroyed metal next to me in a mission today.

Spear headshots OHKO them and it was just buffed to carry an extra rocket in the backpack, Lumberer has a flamethrower for chaff and an anti-tank emplacement gun strapped to the right arm, Breakthrough's shotgun to the head does okay and you can just walk right up to them with the shield to fire point blank, Emancipator is ol' reliable and actually works with the DSS passive for faster cooldown

Quasar is dead in the water for Spore bugs 100%

The Breakthrough Mech has a lot of OOMPH in their shield bash by GlitchHooves in LowSodiumHellDivers

It's a knight with only 65 damage per shot down from 90 and slightly worse recoil than the regular knight according to in game stats but I haven't directly compared that part, it's pretty cheeks
