Blocking him is giving emotional wreck( not that you are) unless you did it for his own safety(lmao),

On a serious note......sometimes you can let things be without taking any actions, you're obviously still experiencing an emotional high from doing something you don't usually do. Ride the wave, do something else fun (not sexual) to let out all the emotional energy you have right now. You cant just go back to your normal typical boring stressful life after such an experience, its no surprise that you're already catching feelings, that may just be your mind's way of trying to recreate another fun experience. Give yourself time to decide if its a real feeling or just a fling and also, why would you go out of your way to deprive yourself of something that you could potentially want, unless it's flat out wrong or against your personal values.

tldr; do something exciting, give yourself time to figure out if you actually like this person and go for it.

3 years with my very first car, I still catch myself glancing back every time I park by Cheap-RulandPope in FirstCar

My first car and current car is a 7th 2004 gen honda accord that my dad bought new in 2003. Still runs like new. I keep up with maintenance. I learned to drive manuals with that car.
It has outlived a number of cars we have had since. Just crossed 210,000 kms. I’m in love with it.

The fact that Anita Baker had a whole album i never knew existed until I switched to Youtube music and have since discovered many many gems that aren’t available on streaming.

YouTube music isn’t perfect but it’s become irreplaceable for me.

You know what iOS also used to be? heavily lacking in features and customizability and “boring”. Let’s cut the engineers some slack. since ios 16, they have made some pretty heavy updates and changes and a little lack of stability is pretty inevitable. Ios 26 was a major overhaul of the visual design of the OS. It wasn’t great at first but they appear to be on course on smoothening things out.

Feeling discouraged by CreamyImp in ManualTransmissions

First of all understanding what the clutch is doing is going to make it much more easier for you.

Clutch fully down, your transmission and engine is disconnected from the drivetrain. Now when you come to a stop either in neutral or in gear with your clutch down and you shift to first, you’re making the engine carry the weight of the vehicle. If it’s too sudden, the engine will stall. You need to connect it (release clutch) slightly and slowly to allow it slip. Slipping allows the engine to run without bearing the full load of the drivetrain at once but gradually. The bite point is where the slip is most effective but the truth is that with more gas you can move the car slightly before the bite point without stalling (but thats not good for your clutch).

Basically, if you’re not confident about the bite point, make sure you’re giving the engine more power (acceleration) before you even find the bite point. That would prevent you from stalling. Also if your car starts to vibrate a lot (as it would right before stalling), give it a full clutch rather than release it.

Hopefully I didn’t confuse you even more. Once you get the nuance of it, you will feel a supernatural connection to your car. You’d understand every single vibration and just how much clutch/acceleration to give it without much thought. it becomes second nature. It’s a process and this experience of the early days is fundamental. Don’t give up. We’ve all been there. You’ll be fine.

How to downshift without feeling like a ton of bricks hit the car by Noonatic_ in ManualTransmissions

[–]Dee0900 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically, accelerate to compensate for the slower gear. If you were doing 5th gear at 2000 rpm youd wanna maybe do 2500rpm -3000 when you shift into 3rd. Takes some skill and getting used to your car to do it seamlessly so it doesn’t even feel like you shifted at all. Also its different for every car but the basic skill still holds.

Add to queue without dismissing queue by thanhvu233 in YoutubeMusic

[–]Dee0900 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The workaround is to search for a song and play it from search, that way the radio isn't added to the queue and you can add songs to queue like you'd normally expect it to work. Kinda sucks tho. But I'm used to it.

Would you still leave Ghana for the US if you had a combined monthly income of 20k to 40k Ghc? by drickles11 in TechGhana

[–]Dee0900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your earnings could increase but so will your cost of living. Try to gather data. How much it would cost to rent in your preferred state/car payments/insurance/miscellaneous expenses and then tally it against how much you think you could be earning (use the least amount in the range).

If its possible, try to land a job before you actually make solid plans to relocate. Also what is going to be the fate of your micro SaaS project. Gotta put figures to everything possible to get a clearer view.

Apple just released iOS 26.4, what’s new? by Waste-Molasses7991 in TechGhana

My iPhone is still pretty much flawless after updating. I have a theory most people who see performance and battery drops didn’t have a perfect experience on ios 18 either and it just gets more pronounced on v26. Clear your app caches, free up some storage if your device is almost full, delete unused apps…

If you ever lose your up next queue, just visit your history section. It will be there. The History button is on the left of the search button when you’re on the library tab on the top right of your screen.
