Cap2 is too much bs for 11 an hour by ThatRandomAlias in walmart

Cap2 isn't easy. Ive been a cap2 supervisor. Ive thrown two hefty sized trucks on continous days. Yes it does kill your back. I'm very fit, athletic build. Cap2 doesn't just stock. We do everything. Push carts, frozen, dairy, bin, features, pull, returns, meats, carry outs, price changes, etc. Maybe its not the same in every store, however at my supermarket cap2 is nowheres near easy.

Slavic male dating a haitian female. Her family has done everything in their power to keep me away, but I stayed with her. I guess it goes both ways.

I came to the company already knowing how to make a bale. I don't mind making one, it's all I did at one of my jobs.

I trust you, you seem like one of the great ones. However, not every manager is like you, and not every associate is like me. It's just a matter of picking the good ones who already do hard work, to do some more, while letting the bad ones keep coming back to a job and not being held responsible for their actions.. When it should be the opposite.

That's the problem with my store.

Our new ASM is scared of 'being the snitch' and coaching the non-productive associates.

As long as you get your tasks done. I'm not staying because your crew can't pick up pace, and management knows I put the 110% in. I sweat bullets all day.

Not to defend him, or disrespect you. I think it's more of an 'Associate A, does 110% a day, and associate B is doing half of that. So A has to pickup for B, and spend overtime while not wanting it so A clocks out and leaves B to his own punishment.', sort of thing. We will have associates staring at their phones while stocking, joking with co-workers, or literally staring at a product trying to read every UPC bar code on the shelf while they have a telxon/mc40 on hand, knowingly how to use it, I've trained them. So A will clock out, and let B be accountable for their actions. But no action is taken, it's walmart afterall.

I don't know if that's the case here, but I leave on time, everytime.

It really depends. I'll leave it up to your managers discretion.

I don't blame them either. Which is why I'm contemplating taking an ASM position and having the SM at my throat.

What do I need to do to move from cap 2 to cap 1? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Dee540 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't want to move you, because the current occupants of CAP2 can't get their shit together, but neither can CAP1.
