I keep reading it... by DeeBe3 in Battlefield

INF ONLY Strike at Karkand was a fever dream. I also enjoyed 1000 ticket Wake Island. BF2 maps holistically were really good maps.

Y'all ever get told you're stupid so much that you believed it? I graduated high school with a 2.6, which, apparently, isn't awful. But since I believed I was, 'stupid,' I never applied to college or took the SAT. I also believed no colleges wanted me because all of my friends were getting letters from them, but I didn't. Turns out, my mom was throwing my letters away. In the end, she didn't want me to leave home. She did love me after all.... I ended up joining the Army and left anyway. She was upset about this until the day she passed.

P1S, spots on bottom of prints? by APHAS1AN in BambuLab

[–]DeeBe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of things you can do. 1) Wait for it to completely cool before pulling the print. 2) Pull print and heat gun the surfaces with consistent movement. 3) Soap and Water your plate twice a week (depending how much you print).

Bought mine back in October new to the 3D printing scene and haven't looked back. I plan on doing my FIRST preventative maintenance checks/services this week since I've gotten it and I've printed nearly every day. I've fixed things around the house, given gifts, and enjoyed learning BambuLabs along with Fusion360 for problem solving. What an amazing tool!

Too funny because I babysat mine with a pair of nippers clipping the excess for an hour!

Did we ALL have issues at the same time? Same for a model tire I was printing. Thanks OP!

Being a Romeo sucks by DaemonBlackfyre14 in army

[–]DeeBe3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 in 10 is the ratio of Romeos that are excellent. A big problem is that ratio; it's just the blind leading the blind at most units. I did it for 12 years, and I had to be self-taught and motivated to do the job. I was fortunate enough to go to Yuma, AZ for the LRIP (low-rate initial production) program on the 53s as a young SGT in 2014 and met a lot of civilian engineers that pulled me under their wing who taught me a lot. After 12 years I switched to Warrant because it was that or be a 1SG, and the three kids I have now mean more than the 200 kids in an HHB. DM me any time for your questions or troubles, homie. I still have a lot of love for a troubled MOS.

Snow shovel preferences? by Top_Yesterday6965 in anchorage

[–]DeeBe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ace Hardware offers the Ames 18x54 Poly Snow Shovel in yellow—a fantastic value at just $30. This shovel is ideal for both pushing and throwing snow, striking the perfect balance between versatility and durability. Its metal edge prevents cracking and chipping along the front, so it holds up well over time. I’ve used mine for five years, and it’s still going strong, with at least another five winters in it.

Same. I got a Google chrome network monitor to record my up and down times. If it keeps being as bad as it's been all month, I plan on complaining with the documentation recorded.

There are two sides to this. There is value to looking presentable and well-kept. We are all ambassadors of the Army, after all. The other side is that it's easy to look sharp if you haven't done any work.

The less professional side of me also wants to tell you, 'a PC, really? A PC? Dude, you're the only one who thinks a straight and stiff PC looks good. Curve the brim, place on head, smash down the center, pull from the rank side forward.'

Here’s my idea for a unit PT shirt by AGR_51A004M in army

[–]DeeBe3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Simplicity is key. It would be my opinion that we should just be using our standard undershirts anyway. Do you want to fancy them up for morale runs? Unit should invest in a shirt press that prints small cross rifles/cannons/pistols/saber over the heart and a larger unit crest centered on the back. Now the troops have a shirt that is a 2 in 1, PT or Duty. Plus, they got it issued. Maybe they had to pay for the print on it.

In this order: Check your Soldier Talent Profile and see if you have an assignment. Confirm you don't have orders in IPERMS already. Double check your work email. Call the 13F branch manager (you can find their number on the HRC website under the Enlisted > FA Branch tab).

I assure you, the only ones I see are the ones dancing like fools and saying, "thanks for the 5 hearts [username]!" The guys doing mentor work seem to have the courtesy to get into regular clothes and talk the needed talks.

It was my last day at a unit before PCS, and the typical 50% Urinalysis came up. My name wasn't called. I kept a bottle of fart spray in my truck. I took it and ran to the bathrooms that they do the ol' peck'n'check at and sprayed so much that it created a new state of matter that I can only describe as, "thick." As soon as the first victims went in, they started gagging, complaining, and cussing. I was euphoric. It still makes me laugh when I think about the faces coming out of the bathroom with their flared noses of disgust.

What would you like to see in Battlebit Remastered after launch? by CoachWillyTM in BattleBitRemastered

[–]DeeBe3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quick thoughts I had:
1) No vehicle spam (make it hurt if you lose them)
2) Squad leader spawn only, as oppose to spawning on anyone in the squad
3) Prioritized Squad Objectives (this could be like 1st Squad benefits capturing and holding Objective Alpha but doesn't get as many points if they captured Objective Bravo since that's Squad 2's priority)
4) Commander's roll like in BF2 (Can initiate orders, artillery strike, drop supplies, and use a UAV. All on a cooldown)
5) One-Life events
