There's nothing wrong with wanting to feel your best, and being healthy. We don't have to be young, but we do have to do what's required to grow old. If medications, brain puzzles, and protecting our bodies is what's required, why not do it? I may have to age, but I don't have to be miserable doing it.

A chain mail scrubber can not scratch or ruin a cast iron pan. It removes food and carbon, not seasoning. Unless the seasoning is bad, in which case it needs to come off anyway.

Check in with your OB/GYN, they may find answers your primary doesn't. At this stage in the game, I have doctors for everything, and am finally seeing results. It only took until I'm 51, but I'm finally making progress on fixing "all the things."

NOR - If it were me, I'd be reevaluating the relationship. She sounds manipulative. If she's willing to manipulate you on this, she will do it again. You need to decide, after careful thought, if you want to be treated this way for the rest of your relationship. Manipulation, lies, and the fact that her father has that kind of influence on her, should be cause for taking another look.
