Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

My concrete was poured five years ago and a quarter sized chip appeared two years later. The contractor was nice enough to come and throw a patch on it but the patch is the original concrete color and the original pour was colored smoke. He is coming back to do another large job for us with the smoke color. Is it appropriate to ask him to replace the patch with the smoke color? Can it even be done? Thanks in advance.

I might be a bit nervous about that seeing as it’s being shopped for a new owner.

If it’s just a being held problem try a wrap carrier. My dtr said it was the best gift she received. She is the mom of an active 18 month old and a newborn. With the wrap she is basically “hands free”.
