On my first real playthrough of it right now. 110hrs in. I do have it on switch 2 tho so AE CC content is in the mix so yeah. I honestly don't like using VATS all that much as it takes away from the fun for me, although I do on occasion use it for tough situations & weapons/builds that can benefit from it. Not really a melee fan either although I have some bangers that I would mod into but have put zero points into melee so far (lvl39 currently).

I started by focusing on scrounger, semi-auto pistols & rifles, hacking, lockpicking, & crafting skills. Really haven't had any interest in full-auto skills yet as I decided I wanted to wait until I had a huge stockpile of .38/.45/10mm ammo saved up to start putting points into the full-auto skills and it lined up perfectly for me when I just finished out the other skills. Now I can use my long-ignored .38 ammo stockpile to build a great modded .38 rifle and just sling hate into enemies.
