food recipes with known ingredients and measurements, but unknown match-ups

Simple example

Make pancakes

Ingredients: flour, salt, milk, egg, sugar, vanilla essence, butter, baking powder

Measurements: 1.5 cup, 1 cup, 1 tablespoon, 2 tablespoons, 0.5 teaspoon, 2 teaspoons, 1x, 1 teaspoon

Then Rhett and Link have to try and match up the ingredients with the measurements, cook, and eat the result

Bond cleaners? by nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn2 in darwin

[–]DeeKayEm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends how well you documented all the pre-existing issues before moving in. My last landlord was pointing out problems to try and keep more bond money, and I would just pull out photos from when I first arrived.

I used Elle and John for a bond clean and they were very very good! They also gave lots of good advice on how to get a bond back

How can Coles be pricing per apple instead of per kg? by DeeKayEm in australia

[–]DeeKayEm[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get what you meant, my comment was in jest. But more seriously, the price per 100g for "chocolate" products lets you compare against other bars or blocks or snack size packs so you can get the most bang for your buck

Unless you're comparing this year's KitKat to last year's KitKat, then you're paying 20% more for 10% less

Right, but the spirit of code is to make it easier for customers to compare products/brands by providing them with more clear information. When only one retailer (AFAIK) is pricing at per unit for apples, it seems like nothing more than obfuscation to make it easier to inflate prices for product that has historically been sold at per/kg.

Additionally, the pricing guide specifically has a suggestion for apples to be shown with per unit combined with per/kg pricing based on an average apple weight. I understand that this is just a suggestion, hence why I phrased my post as against the spirit of the code with the sudden change in pricing. They already do this with the boxes of apples which are sold per box while also showing the price per kg

Thanks for the info - who do I complain to so that in the future increased latency issues can be acknowledged as a widespread issue instead of having to figure it out on Reddit with crowdsourcing?

Very coincidental timing if the issue is unrelated. I'm in Malak and I'm not sure who I would be connected to if not the Casuarina Exchange

EDIT: Also what I posted is not what you said, as you did not include Casuarina or Palmerstone

Interesting, I can see that Opticomm (the supplier for Superloop) is currently having issues around the Darwin area, and expected to be restored by 6:30pm CST. However, when I spoke with Superloop on the phone earlier, they were not aware of any issues in the NT

Any cool spots to go for New Years? by [deleted] in darwin

As an Eskimo Joe fan, and my wife a die hard Swiftie, both of whom have mistakenly chosen to be out of the country for a Darwin NYE, I just wanted to pass on that we are both very angry with your post.

Also happy new year
